Gaia laughed at the exchange. "Magnus, my dear, if you growl there are no treats. You know how it works!" Gaia giggled and looked at the Slytherin boy () "Hello. I don't think we have met. I am Gaia and he does have excellent hands. He is an amazing artist." Gaia winked at the Slytherin boy "Sarcasm looks great on you. You should do it more often." Turning her attention to Magnus () "Pup, you know I don't use my powers for that type of good! Besides even the answers to exams are hidden from me. I can tell you there will be ham AND chicken for you at dinner tonight!" Giggling she stood by Magnus and kept an eye on the quaffle.

Magnus was trying to regain his calm, but it was hard. He was shaking with anger as he dug his finger nails into his skin. He was stronger than normal humans anyway, but closer to the full moon he was even stronger and his hands started bleed--not that he noticed it as the blood trickled down his hands, spilling a few drops onto the grass. Magnus' desire to punch the Slytherin boy was barely offset by Gaia's calm demeanour.

Gaia left the group for a moment to fetch something from her book bag. "Here" Gaia handed Magnus pumpkin juice. "You might need a small break. Drink that you will feel better. Also get me the bandage from your bag. You should know better by now. Remember Quidditch Club is all about fun." Gaia grinned at her friend and shoved him towards the bags.

"Aw, well, so much for being mates, eh?," he replied with a brief smirk and narrowed eyes before his face returned to a stoic state. Eros' gaze drifted away from Magnus. "Fine," he added coldly. It wasn't because of Magnus' threat. Rather, it was only the first club meeting and he didn't want to get kicked out. At least, not yet. It may be lame now but perhaps it'd get more interesting later. ()

His eyes had drifted to the girl who introduced herself as Gaia. He didn't respond to her explanation about Magnus being artist, but her wink at him did make Eros' brows furrow. Was she actually playing with him? Eros wasn't sure if he should dignify that would a reply. Instead, he just gave her his name. "Eros Sigurd." He studied her for a moment, but then look away, back to the game of muggle catch. ()

He looked at it and took her drink. "Nother draught of peace?" he asked with a slightly raspy voice. He retrived his bandages and handed them to her. His anger draining when she touched him to apply the bandages. She was a very calming influence, especially with the tactile contact. "Sorry," he said in a whisper. He glanced over at Eros. He felt bad that he threatened the boy and good at the same time. But Gaia was right, it was supposed to be fun and even the disagreeable lad deserved his freetime too.

Gaia looked over at Eros () once she was done with the bandage " You know he is not so bad." She said to Magnus () "You, however, need to be more careful. You know better than to let people get to you. besides he could always get hit with the quaffle... probably direct hit to the face." Gaia laughed and looked through her bag "here have some chocolate. I am kind of hungry. There is a lot going on this semester and the quaffle seems to get heavier with each pass." Gaia said with a lazy sound in her voice while waiting for the ball to be tossed around.

Beth had bottles of Wolfsbane Potion and Draught of Peace in her bag. Worried she walked over to Magnus and asked, "How are you feeling? Do you need anything?"

She planned to talk to Eros later.

'Refreshments are just what we need!' Ernessa exclaimed. She had been watching the dispute and was worried a fight would break out. She strolled to the table and grabbed an energy bar.

"Can't always control it," he said slightly defensively. He didn't exactly think that he'd have a problem on the quidditch pitch. But no one was harmed either. "No thanks," he said turning down Gaia and Beth's chocolate. Shaking his head he said, "I'm fine. Didn't mean ta get angry. I'm sorry. If you want, I'll go." He looked Beth in the eyes, carefully giving her a blank expression. He didn't want to be the one to be the problem.

Ace walked over to the refreshments, grateful for the minor fallout being broken up and having avoided it himself. He took a green apple from the bowl, a water from the table and smiled at Beth, taking a chocoball as well. "Thank you, ma'am." he said, and winked. He cracked the bottle and drank greedily. Although he hadn't exactly worked up a sweat, he felt the mild heat. "Aaah. Hits the spot." He glanced at Magnus, feeling that he should say something, but he was just not sure what. Instead he opted to smile and walk over to Ernessa who seemed in good spirits. "Hi, you're Ernessa, right? I'm Ace." he said. "Are you going out for the house team? I think you'd be excellent."

Gaia left Beth and Magnus ( ) to grab some water bottles and some fruits. Coming back she said "Today is a beautiful day. I might just tan a little!" Gaia giggled and handed Magnus a water bottle "why you being that way, pup? You know it is not your fault. Besides what would life be without some spice and adventure?!" Gaia walked towards Eros () "Here, have a bottle of water." Handing the bottle over Gaia walked back, sat, and began eating an apple humming some cheery tune to herself. "Ace and Ernessa want to come sit with us?" ( ) Gaia smiled and patted the grass.

He was surprised when Gaia returned to him with a bottle of water. He looked at her for a moment, not saying anything. His expression wasn't as icy as before. It was look of mild confusion and curiosity. He wasn't expecting the it considering how he made her friend upset. He hesitantly took it, but didn't really do anything with it but held it. The words 'Thank you' weren't really part of his vocabulary when it came to people he barely knew, but it didn't seem like she was expecting it. He watch her walk back to the other before he headed back over to where the equipments were. He placed the bottle down next to the trunk and picked up a spare Beater's bat. He examined it for a bit before just throwing practice swings at the air.

"I appreciate your loyalty and all, Gaia, but twas all me." he said shaking his head. He took a few deep breaths. What if he had hurt the other boy? Magnus hated himself sometimes--like now. Gaia had sat back down enjoying the sun. He walked over to Eros. "I just want to say sorry. Didn't mean to threaten you. Its a bit close to the full moon and I'm a werewolf. Its not an excuse, I know. Anyway, I'll leave you alone now." He stalked away as fast as he could mange, afraid he'd react again. At least the Slytherin knew he was a werewolf now. He felt queasy. Should he leave?

Beth walked to Eros () and handed him an apple, "Are you all right? What's up?" she kindly asked him.

Lyn managed to snatch up a couple energy bars passing by the refreshments table before walking to the side of the table and picking up a water bottle. She unwrapped a bar enough to keep it in her mouth and slipped the other into her pocket before grabbing a spare Quaffle from one of the sets. She sat down on a field bench, setting the bottle beside her, and started tossing the ball up and down all the while chewing on the bar still hanging from her mouth.

His stomach lerched a little. He was glad she didn't want him to leave. "Okay," he said, "I'll be ready. And thanks..." Going back to his trusty bag, he took a tiny amount of the draught of peace he had. Just enough to calm him down further and avoid any more issues. Gaia's drink was just pumpkin juice. A calm washed over him, not a much had he taken the full potion, but enough for him to not feel as out of sorts with himself as well.

Eros stopped what he was doing when Magnus came over. Just when he thought that after the earlier incident, the hot-blooded boy was going to stay away, here he was. The Australian twisted the bat in his hand as the other guy spoke. Eros didn't react any kind of way to it. He hadn't known and it wasn't everyday that he meets a werwolf, but the piece of information didn't really change anything for Eros.

He was about to start swinging the bat again when his attention shifted to Beth () who had also ventured over to offer him an apple. He looked down at the apple before eyeing Beth. As with Gaia and the bottle of water, he cautiously took the apple without a thank you. It just happened that it was his favorite fruit, not that he was going to say so. "I'm fine," he gave her the generic short answer and looked away towards one of the nearby towers as he crunched into the apple. He took a moment to swallow his bite before speaking again. "If you're here to lecture me about starting trouble, don't worry. I know. I'm just here to improve my Quidditch skills," he said, making the assumption that was the only reason the club's captain decided to come over.

Aderyn watched the quaffle as tossed it up and she ran forward, positioning herself under the ball's shadow. She caught it easily as it came down and tossed it up a short distance again, spiking it over at a boy she vaguely recognized and knew to be a Slytherin ().

"Incoming!"

Ace nodded and went to sit with Eros and Gaia, vanishing the core of his apple with his wand and downing the rest of his water. "Thank you." He listened to her humming and couldn't help enjoy the peacefulness of the day. The weather was perfect for some outdoor activity, and he was soaking up every minute of it. He even enjoyed being part of a group. A rather motley crew that would certainly take some getting used to, but people he hoped he could eventually call friends. A luxury here at Hogwarts he had not yet afforded himself.

No one noticed but Gaia was paying close attention to the Slytherin boy, Eros. Behavior is something Gaia is interested in. Chuckling to herself gaia threw her towel at Magnus () "Can you get me more grapes? Also you owe me a pumpkin juice!" Giggling she called out to Aderyn () "You know you could have cheated in catching the quaffle! Imagine the quaffle soaring through the sky and BAM! You catch it mid-soar without a broom." Gaia sighed flying was the best.
