I definitely agree with you. At the very least we'll get two weeks, and I think it takes about 5 days to progress to full zombie (I might be off with my numbers there). We should still be able to get 3 strains this year if all goes well. You chose an older zombie strain, correct? And that's not showing up either?

About 4-5 days of progression sounds about right. And yeah, I got bitten and infected for one of the older ones and as far as I can tell my HA hasn't changed at all under the clothing.

I have the same issue. For the record, I remember when I signed up for the new strain, at the time, it said it was 0sp. Today it says 10,000 sp. I dunno if that'd have anything to do with it, but my strain is still selected, but it still says I'm waiting and I got mine yesterday evening around 9pm SBT.

any word from the programmers yet? i signed up for something within the hour of the news post, and got impatient of waiting for the new strains telling me no biting and went with the random option some 8 hours later and there's still nothing. i was so excited for pandemic this year, after last year being so great. its kinda disappointing lol

I signed up for glowing last night and my avatar still doesn't even show it's infected. At the time it said 2 hours 30 minutes-now it says 3 hours 30 minutes. I think it's the Hustler disguised as Gunner.

IN got nekkid (well, my HA anyway XD) to see the progression, but nothing so far.

Hopefully if this keeps on too much longer, they extend the end date or something

Yeah, I remember signing up for Exuberant about idk a half hour after the event had started. I also hope we get some kind of extension or shorter progression times.

Not sure if Ive seen anyone talking about issues with the older strains...Mostly the new ones not wanting to work.

The viruses and skins are the most looked forward to part of the event, I'm a little flummoxed as to how it can be over 12 hours later and still not be fixed up.

Still hoping this gets fixed soon. :(

Does the inability of the strains showing up for those who chose random have something to do with those who picked a strain but it never came? I'm starting to think those are related....

Just because survival can vary in time doesnt mean we couldn't use an extra day because of this mess-up. It has prevented us from becoming infected for almost an entire day now, I only think it would be fair to give us extra time to make up for it. No demands, just wishful thinking. Staff is usually awesome about extending things when theres an uh-oh and this is kind of a big uh-oh. They kept us on our toes and survival is here but we're STILL WAITING. Whether they extend it or not I'll just be happy to see something happen. I'm anxiously awaiting for these damn avatars to update ^_^

Hoping this gets cleared up soon ;w; I wanted to try and get them all lol (can't remember if you have to start from the beginning with each virus or how it works to unlock them all)
