I'm not buying anything from him because I've been here over 11 years. If I wanted the items he's selling I bought them at the time. Maybe I should be taken out of the target group because I get the ad every time he has something new in.

I've been here for more than 9.5 years, but goals change. People change. Just because you've been here a long time doesn't mean you've purchased everything you wanted in the future when it was readily available.

This is probably true for a lot of people but I was explaining why there's no point in me being in the target group.

It's unrealistic to expect any site to cater to a particular person so much that they know one person bought what they wanted and another person didn't. I wish there was a toggle. Or even some kind of input from staff. -_-

I don't expect the staff to know that but I've been in the target group for months. I'm just hoping there will be a changeover where the target group is concerned and I won't be included next time.

A toggle would be great and so would input from staff.

If other people like this way it's fine for them, but I like it if there will be also a possibility for people to block it, who don't want the banner.

The hustler appears by me also when I fisit the forums, edit my shop and when I'm logged in. His banner will not only appear when I fisit petpages.

I'm here for one year, almost two years. But it's my habit to buy something only when I need at the moment too.

I haven't seen it since it first came out, and would love an explanation for why some people see it and others do not. I wouldn't mind the alerts myself, but would love the toggle option too. I always forget to check, so having the alert would actually be good for me. :) I just want to hear information about /why/ some users do not get it, and how we can START getting it again. I just hope it is purposeful, and not yet /another/ bug.

I want to get rid of the GODAWFUL banner! I hate it. I hate the way it overlays the sidebar, how you can't get rid of the banner without risking buying something, etc… Please make it GO AWAY!

You can't accidentally buy something. If you click the button to buy it'll bring you to the Hustler page where you have to actually buy it. I just got the notice. Thank you to whomever did that for me!

It still makes me nervous. Especially given the number of things that go wrong on this site daily. Having an extra "are you sure?" step is nice, but I don't trust that to save me every time. With my luck, the site would crash before that window could pop up.

I have bought from the Hustler periodically and belong to the ping group. This banner makes me want to stop buying from Cash Shop as well as the Hustler.

Ugh! Why did it come back on me? Stupid thing blocks the navigation. I wouldn't mind the banner if either we could turn if off by choice or if there was a way to have it disappear after a couple of pages. I hate seeing it on my pet pages.

It did one thing good. I had to allow pusher.com just to remove it. I hope that isn't still messing up as I miss hovers.

edit: Nope. pusher.com is still lagging. I'm going to have to disable it and use that css to block the banner.

Thanks for this thread. I find the Hustler ad really irritating, especially as I'll never buy from him. It hadn't occurred to me that CustomCCS could get rid of him - I've tried it and it seems to be keeping him at bay for now. Thanks!

I don't understand, I got rid of this stupid thing using custom CCS and now is back, what the heck.. I am NOT gonna buy anything from him, give me a chance to get rid of this alert, it makes me want to stop buying from the cash shop at all!

After posting on here, I now am getting this banner again. Definitely makes me think the marketing is more purposeful... or they just realized it was glitched and not reaching everyone like it was supposed to. Either way, I like having it back, but we need a toggle for it for those who hate it.

Strange, I thought this was done away with? It doesn't bother me and in fact I find it's a nice reminder to check what the Hustler is selling but it would be nice to be able to toggle it for people who don't like the event.

I'm kind of tired of the Hustler banner, too. I'm part of the Hustler ping group and it really renders the group useless now. Not to mention I get sorely disappointed when something on my WL comes up in the Hustler and that banner comes up and I don't have the CSC to buy it :/ With the ping group, I could always ignore the pings, but the banner you can't ignore. I wish it wasn't always custom CSS for everything, too, just cuz I don't know enough about it to input it into my current coding properly and it bugs me that I always have to bug someone else to do it for me XS

I'm thinking I'm one of the minority here, but I like the hustler notification. It doesn't interfere with my drop down menus, but I'm also just using a standard Subeta layout, no custom CSS, so that could be why [and I don't visit profiles and pet profiles like ever haha XD]. It only pops up every time he gets a new item, and since I'm actually looking for certain old cash shop items, I really love the feature, its better than the ping group imo. But its not too large, it doesn't obstruct my view of anything, and removing it is working fine. So I like it, I hope it stays, but I do agree that a toggle option should be provided for those who don't care for it.

As wonderful as the ping group is, I like the banner too. It never interferes with my browsing the site... or rather, if it does, it doesn't bother me because it's so simple to just close it. But I don't agree with there being a "target" group that gets the banner or gets it more than others, if that's still a thing. How do you know you're targeting the right people? Obviously there are some people who don't want it at all even if they do fall into whatever the target group is, so it should definitely be something you can toggle or opt out of.

I've been getting the Hustler's banner repeatedly throughout the last few days. It's really frustrating because it doesn't always go away when I click the 'X'. Sometimes it takes 5-10 clicks. Sometimes I have to navigate to a different part of the site to get it to respond. A toggle for this feature would be much appreciated.
