Aderyn nodded, hanging the two dresses she held on the end of a rack so she didn't lose them.

"I will, I'm just going to run over and take a look at the separates first. I see some green skirts and tops that I think might work nicely!"

"What do you guys think? I'm not set on the hairstyle, but what do you think about the color?"

"Let us know if you find something that works. I'd love to see what you come up with." ()

Beth finished eating her cookie and turned around to face Harper (). "Wow, your hair looks great! I love the color!"

"Think I'll watch everyone pick out their clothes for a bit. I see some crisps with my name on them!"

Harper skipped over to the refreshments table, smiled at Professors Morgan and Mathers, and grabbed a plate with some crisps and a bottle of butterbeer. She then walked back over to the group, grabbed a chair, and settled to watch the others.

"Feel free to ask anything. I don't mind. Lots o' people 'ave questions about my 'furry side.' Don't blame ya, 'Ogwarts is so famous too. Really? That's too cool. I love Potions, its one of me better subjects. I 'eard the grounds are very scenic." He went a little wistful for a moment and said, "London's great. There's tons o' stuff ta do. I'd sneak outta the orphanage and take in the sights all the time. If ya time it right, ya can get in for free at some of the places when classes are takin' field trips. The smells o' bread and street vendors makes ya always 'ungry. Some times I'd sell one o' me drawings and go buy a hot pie ta eat by the river. And if it wasn't too cold I swam some times too. Just 'ad ta make sure the police weren't about. They didn't like me to good on account as they were always catching me doin' stuff I wasn't sposed to." He smiled mischiviously, "Oh fake a pridiction. Go all swaying like, and say something just vague enough to work. Then claim you need ta go to the 'ospital wing on account that your aura needs 'ealing... not that I've done that or anything..."

Aderyn nodded to Beth and dashed off toward another rack, flipping through the clothes there. She squealed with excitement when she found a skirt and top combination that worked perfectly together.

Grabbing the items, she dashed behind one of the changing screens, quickly getting out of her clothes and into the outfit she'd picked. Looking at herself in the mirror briefly, she smoothed down the fabric and stepped out of the dressing room.

"How do they look? I know the color is a bit subtle for Tinkerbell, but I like how gauzy the fabric is. Plus without straps and a lower back, I won't need to adjust it for my wings. With some gold accessories, makeup, and a pair of shoes, I think it'll work just fine!"

Sam rummaged through the shoes and accessories and with 's help found some enchanted glass slippers that were supposedly unbreakable, and a few sparkly princess-y looking pieces of jewelry. Blinking at her reflection she was startled to notice how the dress revealed she had acquired a bustline over the last year. She knew her quidditch jerseys had been getting a bit tight..., but this! Blushing furiously, she steeled herself and stepped out into the hall before she lost her nerve. Wobbling slightly in the odd glass shoes she walked back to Magnus. "Er, do ya think this might be OK?" she asked OOC: the wardrobe keeps nerfing my nose :(

Paddy hung back and watched all the other students picking out their outfits. It wasn't that she didn't want to join in, more that she felt uncomfortable enough at the idea of a Ball, let alone needing to pick a fairy tale themed outfit to wear for it. Looking around, she spotted Magnus talking to another student and headed over to them. "Hope you don't mind me joining you," she said, "you got your outfits sorted out already, or are you trying to avoid a decision?"

"Wow, Aderyn ()! You look perfect! You're going to make a wonderful Tinker Bell! I'm not sure if you know this, but some fellow Ravenclaws () are going as other characters from Peter Pan. Hannah is dressing up as Captain Hook, Caleb as Peter Pan and Demego as John. You should all take a picture together! It'd be so cute."

"A hot butterbeer would be wonderful. Thanks"

"You look beautiful! I love Tinkerbell the best"

Millie stood off to the side wondering if anyone else needed help. She began to look through the wigs again to make sure she didn't miss anything

"Yeah, the grounds are fantastic, I'll take some pictures the next time I'm there and give them to you!" Adrien smiled, and listened attentively when Magnus was telling him about London. He smirked at the Divination part, "You've never done that, huh? Hmm... I might give it a shot, anything to get out of that class. And you're right, if you mention anything about your aura or mind's eye needing a rest, she'd be all for it." He watched another student come up and turned to greet them. "Hi, I'm Adrien! I do have an outfit, but for now I'm keeping it a surprise," he grinned. "Do you have any ideas for yours?"

"I'm Paddy," she replied, "the best I could think of was the wolf from Red Riding Hood, given my constant covering of fur, but I didn't think that would be all that good an idea really."

She had planned to be here earlier, but her mum had mentioned sending something to her for the ball. From the way her mom had described it, she thought it'd be some kind of accessory, but seeing it now and definitely wanting to use it, she needed help from people more into skirts and things than she was.

Seeing the huddle of friends around , she gently pushed her way through the myriad of other students grabbing gowns and giggling at themselves in front of mirrors. "Hi guys!" she said, flashing a big smile and sitting exhaustedly in an empty chair with the box of red fabric on her lap, "How is ball planning going??"

"You would win at any contest if you did do that, no one else could have a better costume." He said to Paddy with a smile. "But I'm sure everyone here could help you find the perfect clothing, no doubt about that. He noticed Cardamom come in and waved, a beaming smile on his face, "Hey, how are you?" He grabbed a cup of butterbeer and handed it to the exhausted girl, "Here you are! Planning is... well, going I guess, I'm just kind of hanging out here for the meantime. Do you have anything planned for the ball?"

At his question about her theme, she pointed at the box she had carried in. "My mum just sent me this via owlpost. She's a muggle, but she heard about the theme and sent this along with a fairy tale from her culture about pomegranates that turn into princesses. I kinda wanna do that, but have no idea what would go with this."

"I figure the ladies here can help. Any themes ideas for yourself that you are toying with?" she asked , .

"Yeah, the theme does seem pretty fun." He agreed. Watching as Cardamom showed him the box, Adrien whistled. "Whoa... that's cool, I bet once your whole outfit is put together, it'll look great! That was really nice of your mom," he smiled. "There's no doubt all the ladies here can help, they've been helping people out as soon as they knew about the ball theme. I do have an idea, but I promised to keep it under wraps for now, it's supposed to be a surprise." He replied, rubbing the back of his head.

"Under wraps, huh?" The smile on Cardamom's face took on a mischievous glint. "Guess I know the first person I'll have to hunt down once the door to the hall open for the ball."

She took another sip of her drink and gave the thumbs up to the girl most recently up on the platform. "Looking good!" Then she turned back to the guys, "So does that mean you already gathered everything you need?"
