I got around to beating Forj last week (again since the reset) and it seems to me it really comes down to which of her weapons you blast. If you don't hit her magma armor she tends to heal more than you can dump water on her. I used Swash and Unstable Syringe, water potions, and Holy Deluge mixed with as many Cobalts as possible. Once you boost up a bit it gets easier.

She wasn't as bad as I thought she would be but she did take a lot of water potions. The syringe and trident were doing really well with the water damage and I had prodigy staff as a back up in case she stole. I used ocean currents and that seemed to really help. Other than that I used my fire defense scroll set which has a bunch of perilous whirlpool scrolls, gotf, fatal fire, one cobalt and SE scrolls. I will most likely make more perilous scrolls to replace fatal fire and maybe SE just for her when I decide to take her on again.

I have like 8 pets with jobs and yesterday literally Verdugo and two others didn't get a bonus, but the ones that did got an intel, strength or def bonus. Then today Verdugo gets level....like really job agency? REALLY?? -.-'

I have 18 pets with jobs and most days I'm lucky if even one of them gets a bonus -- and when they do, it's usually level. lol
