Scratchcards are really nice cheap stats, but you have to scratch a LOT, so it's up to you how much time you have :P I do it sometimes when I'm watching TV or something in the background, but only if I have waaaay too much time on my hands haha

He is harder than he looks. My T9 beat him -- but he was tough even for her. You're a T8? I'm going to try him with one of my 8s later today. I'll be posting any success I have (what I used, etc) here, so keep an eye on the thread. Hopefully some other battlers will do the same so we can all learn what works. :)

turns out, grin, most of my weapons are in my wardrobe. lol. so when i was at subetalodge, and was looking through weapon, i realize i have some good weapons, but they don't seem to be helping me, because i'm not combining them with the correct potions and scrolls, i'm sure.

if i just knew of a combination that could beat him, i could perhaps work for it, or at least incorporate SOME of the weapons to help be ...not be beat by him so bad?

A 7 is gonna be tougher because some of my fav weapons are t8s -- like the RoE, CTS, etc… How far from t8 are you?

So you're mid 7 -- it's too far to just boost up to T8. I'll try running a 7 thru when I'm done with the 8s, if I can score wins with them. That will be later today -- probably mid-late afternoon, depending on how quickly things go.

and you don't have to do a 7 (unless YOU want to) i'm willing to see about working around your 8. at least it would give me knowledge for next year. (what equipment, etc you use)

i've also added some mod crystals (freezer and healer) to a couple of my weapons. (the battle crow, and the black rune blade)

THANK YOU for your help! I really appreciate it, I lurk around the threads, but sometimes I'm not able to find exactly what i'm trying to get advice on. So I REALLY appreciate the help :)

It would also help when asking for battle advise to post what weapons/scrolls you have available to you :) Sometimes weapons will also help, though it's probably hard for a T7 to beat the Shadow.

As for mods, freezer and healer mods don't help all that much. Parched, singed, BoNA, and crit are usually (but not always) better. As for running a 7 thru -- I was gonna do that anyway, I'll just do it earlier. No biggie. I battle with all my babies -- even the teensy T3! :)

I'm glad you're getting solid advice from . I'm sure others will chime in. Still haven't battled yet. WTH. LOL.

I got a win on shadow first try with my T7 and his stats are a lot lower than yours

My attacks went like this:

1. DDS + RIoD + aftershocks
2. Soma + RB + aftershocks
3. RIoD + Frost Thorn + aftershocks
4. RIoD + Frost Thorn + aftershocks

I still had both of my healers plus my RV available, so I think getting 5 wins is not only possible but rather easy for T7, getting 10 wins will be tricky... but possible.

so I soon realized after battling a couple times that I had no chance of winning with Heehaw. he was just too weak and kept getting critted. I did manage a win though. I relied heavily on and hoped it didn't break. so really my strategy is of no help to anyone. it looked like he did phys, so if you can find a jetpack thingy to borrow, give that a try. his icon spread is pretty great though so he may just be better off for t10 pets. anti-freeze blessing sucks too.

but now i forget which ones I can battle with, and which are for looks. grin.
