right now you could try to see if anyone is selling for cheap, which I doubt they will. t9 is probably my least favorite tier, it's the ultimate in between tier. if you have a gelatin slayer from the war, then you may want to use that, but I wouldn't suggest buying one. probably trident + replica minotaur knocker is a good set that'll carry you since both do healing. I think gelaspell > winter spirit (by quite a bit) so get rid of that. aftershocks may be worth buying as a replacement to terra focujin, less heal but more offense and defense. perilous whirlpool are very nice for freeze chances. short swords can be useful if the opponent is dealing that icon that the short sword is defending, but for general purpose the lack of healing is annoying. rapier of error is still nice to keep in your set for the freeze and curse. the only real accessible upgrade in tier 9 I know of is some people are saying is nice, I haven't used it. though low freeze chance and some heal on it looks kinda nice.

The other thing to consider would be a combo legend, but they are much more expensive weapons obviously.

Acidtongue comboed with Sentinel with 4 Parched mods does 52 icons (of only 2 icon types), while healing 5% and having a good parched %.

Aspersion comboed with Sentinel does something like 46 icons (over 3 icon types), while healing for 6% and having good parched.

Origin with Sentinel + Singed mods does 56 icons (over 2 types) with a good Singed % (+8 icons), while healing for 4%

Aren't they custom coded to heal for 0 when used in the same set? Or that might only be normal trident + replica.

If they don't have custom code preventing that, I think thats the best combo for general use.

only regular trident, blessed trident + knocker works.

haha :P it's no problem. the last one or two sold for 200m (which I think is sorta cheap actually) I'm not sure if it's worth it as a weapon, but they're pretty neat and very limited. sad to see mine go away but I got something cooler out of it xD

I would like to see the Pylots again. Cause I never did get to battle the Impossible version. Plus all new loot with them would be amazing.

I don't remember any of the pylots but according to my achievements I fought the little ones. pylots have very expensive loot. which challengers were from epicon besides ping and the metroid?

Hmm There was that black dragon, the Bowser wannabe and Pac Man wannabe. They only went up to very hard.

if you have enough room in your set, a well timed void in the middle to end of the battle really helps.

Bludgeon of Mass Extinction is one of my favorite attackers in t9

I remember when going for 10 wins I found that waiting to chain freeze him seemed easier. so instead of freezing from the first turn, I waited a bit. I also used a void to get to 10 wins cuz I think it was told me to try that
