True to that, I am also slowly working myself through all the challengers still myself. Kind of hoping the reset will be a couple of months away giving me time to build up for the impossible challengers before the reset happens...

Is this going to be achievement based or something counted on each pet like regular battle wins? I really don't care which it is. But where you place the periodic or top reward is going to be greatly different depending on which way you choose to go with this. Worth noting, if it's per pet, people with armies are going to be getting multiples of everything.
Also, it be great if each challenger had a note saying where the loot stops. I do not want to test 2k wins against Buttwings to find out the final loot was at 1k wins. Though if you were catering to Tier 1/2 you wouldn't ask for 1K, much less 2k wins anyway.
I'm still worried abut the reset date. I know you said people can take their time but taking your time with one, two or three battle pets isn't the same as taking your time with 28 lol.
As much as I understand the need for everyone to get prizes, please have a little consideration for people who train big and don't make it all ez pz. i.e. I got those 15 wins on Hoarfrost in way under an hour, but if there was loot for 30 wins, that would take longer.
Wins in the thousands for the easies is nice for a one-time or two-time thing, as long as people get some loot in the middle of it. Someone said an amulet every 50/100, why not, but it doesn't have to be just amulets. But what would really get interesting is wins in the hundreds for VH's and EH's. Or some high goals for these no heal challengers like Daemon. One shooting only gets old so quickly.
These numbers are nothing new or special, they were all over the high score boards long before there was anything but battle tokens to earn. Surely people can sweat a little.
[Edit] If exp rewards past ten wins increased, I would certainly uncap. I like the old 100k exp to 1 intel conversion. I feel uneasy about getting zero exp when others would be racking millions in over-maxing wins. 100k exp would take a while anyway, and it won't really make a difference considering where I'm already at. Buying straight boosters is less effort. But still, I wouldn't feel like I'm just wasting that exp away.

Hoarfrost Total Battles: 21
Wins: 10 Losses: 11 Ties: 0
Not too bad. Win 9 was one of the easiest, think I must have blasted the right weaps. Got close on my first try for 10 but he weapon cursed me when he had 2.5k health left, so that was that. Next try I just couldn't freeze him and he demolished me right off the bat. Third time was a charm.
"We can do tiers, too. An amulet at X wins, a tome at Y wins, a scroll at Z wins... something to work towards."
I agree with this! C:

him at 90k str and 14 icons, he'd only be doing 1k damage. that's not bad at all really since I can easily overheal it.
10k for one opponent might be doable, but with other opponents going to have goals too, I don't think it should be a regular thing. sure it'll give people something to do, but if the prize isn't worth it, no one will do it, and if the prize is worth it... it's just boring to fight one of the easiest challengers on the site 10000 times.
I'm not sure how many freezer scrolls they're going to release through this. I know they wanted to make GE give out more. I've always wanted to see more freezer scrolls but in different icon types. I just don't think we should have opponents where the only strategy is to freeze them, which is why a lot of the more recent challengers have gone to freeze resistance/immunity
I don't think we'll see the return of exp for int though.
yeah yeah as if 10 intel was gonna unbalance 10 thousand

I actually think it would be a good idea to bring back the intel thing as suggested. I think people will wait much longer before they actually will hit the next cap, this means there is a whole new goal for battlers. Besides, this would be a great way to get intel (other then boosting alone). Maybe some battlers will use the extra exp for other things then intel and so they will reach the cap sooner, but then again, they will have the 'low intel problem' and can't go back to fight the previous opponents again becuase they have become too strong at that point. Like said, intel was very expensive to obtain through exp (100k exp = 1 intel), it is not like you can easily get 1k intel at once. And you cant forse your pet too much to defeat an certain opponent more than he/she can handle.
Also cash shop opponents will be much more interesting for battlers who already did hit the cap. I might be wrong with this, but I personally can see a lot of potential in it :D

Don't have time to read through everybody's already 6 pages of input right now - just my own 2 cents: I'm not sure I like given loot for set x battles. We already are rewarded with extra XP beyond 10 battles now.
Maybe just some random increased XP "drop"?
With everyone's input, it will be interesting to see what they will do. Everyone has good advice. I'm good with whatever extra they want to give us. They will consider everyone's ability. That's why I enjoy this site so much, they ask us for our opinions and actually listen if the input is good.

Potions and pylonics definitely need to make it into battling somehow again. The Apothecary is a nuisance. There even is a loooong thread on that shop's issues after the stock change, but no one in charge ever acknowledged it.
Honestly, EXP alone would be motivation enough to do couple 100 wins for the smallest ones. Bring back the High Scores and I'll do more just for giggles.
I'd like to see more useful things like Pylonics and Dark Element Potions drop too. Boosters and amulets would be great, but anything I can use in battle against that opponent or another, bigger, one would be really cool. If I could grind the mid-tier opponents for potions/pylonics and then use those against the more scary ones it'd be more worth it to bother with them.
I would absolutely be on board for any kind of conversion of EXP to INT and more high AP scrolls like the Void (which is worth wasting 50 AP on).
Random question, but do crit crystals scale based on speed or do they act independently at a set percentage?
No mods scale based on speed. They act independently from each other at a set percentage.

Buying discounted Kumos items and intelligence boosters.
Comment/sMail me if selling.
I agree! They are pretty low rarity items and yet they are 25k+ in shop search. It's bad enough that I have to fork out that much to equip them, it's even worse when they get asked for in quests!
I don't think I would battle any opponent more than 100 times, unless the reward was something really good. The only reason I have more than 10 wins on any opponents right now is b/c I use buttwings to heal between battling harder opponents.
I need to go beat up hoarfrost some more, still only have one win, but my friend flies back to the other side of the country today, so I should have more time freed up.
(Also not sure why some of you have decided to shower me with potion lottery mega tickets, but thank you. :) )
I agree that potions and pylonics need to be more readily available, and loot beyond 10 wins is a great way to do that.

This!!!!! Apothecary is a joke now that the other items are in it.
