- Holiday's have always been my favorite time of year, but it's kinda for a sad reason. My family was real dysfunctional and they were always at each other all the time - but they kind of had a pact where they would all buck up and behave on Christmas Eve and Christmas and not act so psycho - so it was always the time of year that I looked forward to because my family actually acted like family.

On a happier note, this is also my kitties first Christmas! He has been in my tree so many times already, he won't leave the thing alone. I'll get a pic next time.

My cat Puck is every bit his name. When when adopted him initially, I thought that he seemed a jolly, if slightly mischievous fellow. In the time since he grew to be every bit his namesake. Despite having HUGE, slightly cross eyes, teeth that are too big for his mouth, big ears and a body that's long and tall enough that he almost qualifies as a snake, he's super cunning. He knows where the red dot from the laser pointer comes from. He knows that when I have headphones on, I can't hear him as well so he screams louder for attention. He knows that the little things inside of the computer are coming from the computer and tries to find out how to get them. He likes to sit on your keyboard or walk in front of your monitor, and will flop on your book if he doesn't think you're paying attention. He knows when he shouldn't be doing something you've reprimanded him before and subtly looks your way to make sure that you're leaving so he can go right back to doing it. He's exceedingly stubborn, curious, can't resist a box and climbs through the dustiest part of the basement and comes out looking like an all black cat (he's black and white). He's very playful and likes to chirp at our other cat when he harasses her. He's decided that I am his person and if I go away for long periods of time, he'll roam around the house crying, and look for me. Sometimes he'll want attention so much that he'll bite my leg to make me pick him up, and when he's really happy about being petted, he'll drool.

XD Basically he's the best, most stupid looking smart cat and stubborn little jerk ever.

Happy Luminaire! This year I actually DIDN'T procrastinate and got a lot of home projects done that I had been planning :D Feels good to get things done!

My kitty is best friends with my sister's cat. He usually stays with me while I am away at school, but when they get to see each other over the holiday break, it's like they've never left each other. It's super sweet. (Although, they do like to take turns seeing who can be the most mischievous.) Last Christmas they both dressed up as little Santas, and that was also really cute.

CUTE THINGS PETS DO cause pets are the best: We have 4 cats and have to leave like 10 baubles all around our living room where the tree is to try and stop them going for the tree, it's cute but argh! One of my kitties also absolutely loves wrapping paper and we put her in a pile of it once all the gifts are opened and watch her go nuts, sometimes we wrap her up. She also loves to sleep on my head during winter for warmth <3.

Aw, this is so sweet. This year I met my wonderful boyfriend who loves and supports me. We just moved in together and I couldn't be happier :)

Earlier in the year at my Halloween party I dressed up like a devil and got a matching little costume for my cat to wear. It had a little devil tail and wings and a hood with horns. He was so friggin cute! I called him my little minion. He was really good about it too, took it like a champ. He just wandered around to different people and cuddled on their laps all night.

Thanks for hosting this....happing right at this moment....my husband bought me a new quilt for our bed...well the clear bag that it came in has a pre-cut opening in it...two of my cats have already climbed inside (each at a different time) they are obviously waiting on one of the others to come play or they think they have a cool new see through house

This year I have discovered the depth and strength of my resilience, and much to my surprise I have continued to stand while life as thrown one (Or 6) too many curveballs. Growing up I thought myself to be sheltered, and would wilt to others demands. So while the year has not been ideal I have learned a lot about myself as well as others around me and I really appreciate this.

And as a bonus, my cat has discovered he loves shredding tinsel. My vacuum does not enjoy eating shredded tinsel so it looks like christmas vomited in my living room.

i had a great year i started school again, re-met my old friends and it was hilarious. we got in touch with some of our old family we havent spoken to in a while very nostalgic xD

Well , after exams are over, I will finally get enough sleep for a while. And this year was good as I got tons of fan art for myself. I like receiving fanart of my musical OTP and pom-pom hat OC.

Overall, I had a wonderful year this year. My one year anniversary with my boyfriend is coming up and were are incredibly excited for it. He's honestly such a wonderful person and I'm so happy to have found him. Life really couldn't be better right now.

In addition to that, I won a couple art competitions in my home town and am very excited for college coming up next fall!
