It just doesn't seem like Christmas here....sure trees are up, houses are lit up, presents bought and wrapped, all the orders are finished at work, but temps are in the high 70's here...guess we are having a tropical Christmas this year
and guessed correctly, I will go present hunting in the evening ^^
Yay congrats for the correct guesses and :D
Hm, I'm not sure about the tail. I have a concept for what a gryphon should have for its tail, not sure I can make it. I also want a 'normal' gryphon, too. But making the pattern and then sewing it... ah xD I don't have a machine, so sewing by hand.
Weather is weird here, too. Not too cold, not even the sign of snow. We were joking that we'll have a white Christmas because of the fog... we had so dense fog lately o_o feels like October.
Thanks...took me a bit
LOL...guess we can blame global warming. Don't get me wrong I absolutly love warmer weather...I hate the snow and cold...have always joked that if I could move somewhere that is the year round temp is 60-90 all year long, I'd be gone...but there cannot be hurricanes. I've had enough of those living here in the south. I just want to be a beach bum
uh hurricanes, no thanks >_<; thank god there is no chance for hurricanes here. Some minor tornadoes occasionally, but they are rare. Ah yeah global warming, climate change, whatever is happening right now (I still believe we can't predict what's going to happen, all we know that things are changing). I personally love cold and snow, so sucks to live here xD I can hardly tolerate heat, and last summer was extra hot. (but the summer before was very rainy and unusually cold, while our 'normal' summer would simply be warm and sunny with occasional rains)
: ty so much! :D It was really a puzzle this year, I had a hard time figuring it out before that 3am burst of inspiration XD;;
: Patterning is definitely tricky. Figuring out how things are going to stretch and shift and sit and all once you put it together and stuff it.. not always very intuitive. Some things! But not all. I'm still trying to perfect some shaping stuff, on heads and other rounder objects.
Well, the weather hasn't changed a bit. It's so foggy, that everything is wet, and water is dropping from the trees. Uh-oh.
Once we've seen a tornade in high school. It was quite awful and strange, however tornados here are nothing compared like the ones in the US. But it was quite close to us, near at the edge of the small city, and we saw a circular, spinning cloud. Nobody wanted to believe that we saw a tornado, until it was in the evening news. Then all our parents called us, nearly panicking, if we are alright. Yeah, just said a few hours ago, that it was already gone.
