I'm stuck at Bluff....and I was stuck in the crypts ALL DAY yesterday, but I finally got it this morning. Bluff totally confuses me...I keep thinking I understand, then I lose lol... Almost there-thanks again! <3

me too :/ stuck since two days.

Hustler must have bargained with the guy who runs Bluff. I just lost a die because it said the guy had two threes when I called his bluff and it only showed one three and no one's. How's that possible?? It's not the first time it's done that.

EDIT: Oh I'm so stupid!! I read the rules again on the first post of this thread (thanks for that :D) and I hadn't realized that all the dice are in play.

I made it through The Crypts on my first go :D I only started the Scavenger Hunt today as well so I'm doing quite well :D

I finished! I admit, I practiced playing Bluff while I waited for the Crypts When I finally got to play Bluff this morning (I slept on it), I managed to win on the first try :3 I'm glad to be finished :D

I must be the only person who thought the Bluff step was the easiest because I've been playing it for years. For anyone stuck at the Shrine the Blackout scroll is cheap to make. Thanks for this guide, it's great!

Does anybody know if we can do something with the map pieces, put in wardrobe, shop, etc., or will we need them in our inventory for something later?

I'm confused. I have 13 map pieces. The last step I completed was the "Gunter's goat is Oatmeal, of course. Let it goat, and continue on to Gunter." So naturally, I headed over to the Beach Shack but I'm not seeing any dialogue. I've played the Seashell Spotter game and won a Raw Clams on the Half Shell and a Turtle Shell but those aren't bringing up any dialogue when I go back either. Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

Those items don't count, it has to be one of the special shells like abalone shell. I tried just buying one but that didn't work, I had to play the game.

So basically I have to play until I win a game exclusive shell and then bring it back. I'm mostly confused b/c I didn't get the dialogue to begin with.

Others have posted that they just bought one of the shells (see list in my post above) but that didn't work for me. I won the abalone shell on the 1st game and even though I had already bought one so there was one in my inventory I had to play the game. You might try buying a couple different shells on the list, maybe it will work for you.

Always happy to help. Sorry to hear so many are stuck at Bluff. I've been playing it since I started on Subeta and usually win 2/3 games at least. Just keep in mind that ALL of the dice are counted, yours and his. Start with bidding lowest numbers and you can usually figure out what he's got after a few turns. Sometimes I can even predict exactly what he's going to bid next. Just takes a little practice and paying attention. Good luck to everyone.
