The items have not been released for 24 hours, I think we should go and wait a little before panicking

I'm really hoping that the restocks become more frequent or people back off a little after the first ~two or three days because otherwise this is, frankly, balls. I live in the country and have terrible internet, so I usually lose out even when I manage to catch a restock.

But I'd really prefer a switch over to Free Shop-style or a holiday shop.

I don't support the idea of changing the Freyalise to a non-restocking type of shop. This is, IIRC, the last traditional restocking event left on the site; I think it'd be a shame if that was killed off in favor of another shop where you can just buy everything and then forget about the holiday. It's good that there is at least one event that is competitive and profitable for restockers. Besides, the items are no longer as expensive or unobtainable as they used to be thanks to Carl giving them out (I heard he's going to do that again this year), and you can also get them from the other quests and Ocean Depths. I don't want to see the items lose any more value than they did last year, where some things worth millions became super cheap.

My only suggestion is to increase the stocking frequency. Like I said in the news comments, 20+ minutes is way too long to sit around pressing F5.

I definitely wouldn't mind changing the shop. I haven't been online a ton yet, and it is only the first couple of days so it'll improve a bit anyway, but I've only seen two items that I've had for years already, even those sold out seconds later.

because it's only here for ten days I vote either make it non restocking like the holiday shops or do a "only every _ min" like the free shop

There is a fair challenge and there is an unfair challenge and this shop is really an unfair challenge. I don't mind sitting there and refreshing for 20 minutes until the next restock, but at least give me a fair chance to catch an item, at least 1 per restock.

Last year on the first day I bought many items, old and new, and this is year nothing yet..

And I don't like when they say that "we will release other items through different areas" I'm sorry, I'm a collector, I need now all the plushies, books, beanbags etc. And I don't want to spend millions for them.. especially when many of the items are r45-r60..

So captcha/free shop way/reducing the restocking time/more items per restock - at least one change would make the restocking better.

I'm all too aware of that, I don't like how long restocks take either. :/

Please don't turn the shop in "generic event shop". Seriously, there need to be some kind of challenge on this site.

I&;m sure it will slow down in a day or two. I&;m not sure it really needs to be easy though. If there is something legitimately wrong with the restock rate, then I&;m sure the staff will check it out and fix it. I don&;t feel though that everything on this site needs to be easily accomplished by every single person. It&;s impossible in the first place, it&;s also not realistic. There&;s a reason we all buy from each other. Battling bores me, but I buy from the battlers who don&;t want their prizes, etc.

If anything involves collectibles, especially a lot of them, in a very time sensitive manner... then the rate of restocking seriously needs to be monitored. Period.

I've caught a few restocks so far, and I don't feel like the restocks are skimpy by any means.. and okay yeah stuff sells out instantly but it's ALWAYS done that considering the nature of this beast.

However, I've avidly restocked in the Freyalise shop every year since this shop existed and I can't recall a period of time where there was consistently 7-10 minutes between every single restock. That's absurd, and while a longer cool down period from time to time (once an hour?) isn't the end of the world, the rest of the restocks should really be coming in every 3-5 minutes.

Unless of course Carl's going to sweep in in a few days and drop the prices of everything to historic lows like he did last year-- which in case, I guess this restocking rate is fine. If that's nto going to be the case, this really needs to be changed to having shorter restock waits like it has in the past. One or the other.

I am in no way, shape, or form, knocking Carl by any means-- for the record. I think that was a fantastic change because the cost of those very lovely items has always been ridiculously high. Especialllllyyy, when you consider the amount of collectibles hiding out in that short lived shop. I think subeta needs to decide which they want to push more-- restocking (which in case the shop needs to seriously start stocking a lot more often, a looot more often because once every 10 minutes is going to end really sourly) (here's looking at you 15 new books), or questing (economy stimulation, getting stuff changing hands, allowing people access to the new pretty items they want).

If subeta wants both, they need to find a balance. Quickly, if at all possible, because the Frey shops closure is one of the only things on subeta that shuts down the very minute they say it's going to close with no questions asked.

I will agree that the shop should restock a bit more frequently. Otherwise, I think the challenge that is present is fine. I'm only after books right now, because that matters most to me.

The best recommendation I can make is to just ad-block the items you know you don't want, so when the ones you do want restock, your eyes aren't having to search for them.

I don't mind the shop being a restocking-type shop (the challenge is kind of fun, honestly), but...."Restocked 27 minutes ago" seems a bit screwy. I think the rate of restocks should be tweaked a little. =|

I think it's fine the way it is. People are acting like they're entitled to every item ever. There's gotta be some challenge, otherwise it'd go back to floating items that only require pageviews and clicking.

The only issue I have is it going, at times, half an hour between restocks. That is a bit much. Everything else though? It's fine the way it is. If I can grab something on my mobile connection, that says it's more about luck and persistence than a fast connection.

I feel like the restock rate needs to be upped drastically (10+ minutes is ridiculous) AND a timer/captcha be put in place so that items aren't gone within five seconds of a restock. Either that or start sending out the items through other means (quests, magic box, whatever), or just change it to a permanent sP-sink shop like other holidays have gone to.

Either do RSing right or do something else.

Okay after sitting in the shop for a few hours, I really think the frequency of restocks needs to be upped, as well as the quantity of items. I've been seeing restocks of just 1-4 items at a time, which is ridiculous. Waiting 25 minutes for a restock of 3 or 4 items is shitty.

The last restock took 40 minutes so I'm really hoping there is a change to this or another way to get the items. I like the fact that it's a restocking event and all but this is just a little ridiculous. A lot of other sites have restocks that happen between 5 and 8 minutes with it being a rarity for them to take longer. I seriously don't mind that it takes 10-15 minutes here but for a limited time only, once a year shop it's really kinda stressful even when it's not taking 20 minutes extra for a single restock.

If they wanna keep it as a restocking shop they should at least bring back captchas and speed up restocking rate, this is ridiculous. I don't want everything to be handed out to me, I like challenges but this is just frustrating. I am quite active, I'm online everyday for hours but I still have a real job and I can't just sit here refreshing for 30 minutes hoping to catch a restock shrugs

I'm not an avid restocker by any mean; I've only seen a few actual restocks of the shop because I've been sitting there every once in awhile refreshing every minute. I don't have all day to sit in the shop and refresh every single waking moment for some items, I do want to actually do other things and not worry about not being able to buy all the things I want :/

I wish there was a set time for restocks to happen, but that might just be me. I do wish there was a lot more quantity to restocks though, cause you can miss a restock by a second and not see a damn thing.

The shop needs to restock more often, I am astonished at the wait times this year. It was restocking anywhere from like 2-5minutes last year and still selling out fast. And in a time where we are constantly wanting restocking and sP sinks to be revived I just...why. Knock all the prices up to 5-10k, let it restock every 3 minutes and let people go nuts - it's still going to be a challenge with 500-1000 people all lurking for the same items.
