That's really sad!!! We too are barely surviving, but don't qualify for stamps. I know cause I applied. And hubby and I both tried to get jobs, but we're probably too old...we weren't told why we didn't get the jobs, but I've always gotten every job I've applied for.

There are a lot of people in that situation. Jobs are tough to get now because things are so goddamn competetive, you have to be perfect to get them, and anything you do get doesn't pay well.

No kidding! It's almost laughable how little I would make working at Target or something similar. I really tried to get a job waitressing because I am good with people and believe I would do good in tips, but never heard back from them. I was surprised!.

I just beat the Hustler 2/2 times! And I think it's because of my choice of weapons. Instead of going with a hard punch, I've gone with Reborn Icewand of Doom, Replica Minotaur Knocker and the Divine Denizhen scroll. (All weapons you told me to get.) :-) :-) :-)

I so see you at a GameStop! I think I told you I worked there about 12 years ago. It was really fun until my totally cool boss got himself fired and we got a jackass for a boss. At that time I didn't need the money or the job so I quit.

they aren't hiring yet :P my mom told me to work there though. thing is I'm overqualified to work at a place like that, I could probably work as a programmer if I had any confidence. yeah I don't blame you for quitting, I couldn't stand working with a jackass. I'm kinda sensitive.

Programmer? I am so envious and if you know how you should do it! I've always loved doing anything on computers and would love to know how to do coding! That's what a programmer does, right? It seems like with that knowledge you could do so much! And I don't know why you don't have confidence, you're probably the smartest person I know! Seriously!!

that's what my degree is in :P yeah programmers do the coding. I just don't have much self confidence, I mean I can be but at the same time I can't be. I am very conflicted lol. yeah I don't like taking crap either, it gets to me quickly.

Lol, my whole family is democrat. I vote for the things that they say even if it is a lie. lol Not for a democrat or republican. Personally I think we should all just vote on the issues and then our candidate is decided by what we believe should change. I hate how our country is so divided by party.

well politics seems more about making sure the other party doesn't do anything good than it is to help the people right now. I just feel like democrats generally are less about promoting their own self interest than republicans are.
