Did I mention they are voting for Trump XD They drive me nuts. The global warming thing bothers me the most though

That's frustrating. My gf's dad is liberal so I don't have any problems.

That's good lol. We don't disagree on everything but, politics has been a hot issue as of late. I have never actually voted before but he always makes jokes at me being a democrat cause my whole family is. It's frustrating

I couldn't stand that. I'm not sure if I can respect anyone who truly thinks trump is a good candidate.

Personally I don't like either of the lead contenders but obviously Trump is just a wolf in sheep's clothing and they can't seem to understand it.

I don't think hillary would be a bad president. of course she's kinda sketchy but I think she would do a good job. trump would probably get us killed.

to me, I don't think having a president you can trust is a requirement, because there aren't any politicians you can trust. as long as you think they'll do a good job :P they're like lawyers though, always lying.

Again, I totally agree! Hillary is the most qualified if only because of Bill. I effing hate cruz! And Trump is a buffoon! Personally, I like Sanders ok, but I'm not into socialism...

socialism has a stigma and a lot of hate just because of the name. I don't know if I'd support fully free college but I can support a lot of social policies. I'd support communism if it worked. I like the idea behind it but it would never work because there always has to be a central authoritarian figure which goes against what communism truly is. that and greed gets into the way of things.

Yes!! And I don't hate socialism because of the name. I'm just fairly fiscally conservative. I believe in helping the poor and downtrodden, but so far, free hand outs has not worked for this country. Greed is the root of all evil...well that and zealots.

a lot of people rely on the free hand outs though, and there's very little upward mobility, some people are stuck in poverty forever because they lacked opportunities other people had who came from more wealth or just were luckier. the hand outs aren't what is hurting this country anyway.

Nope not the hand outs, but there are better ways to help people, while giving them a sense of self.

My husband turned on me and became republican...he's retired and other than yard and house work he watches TV. And when there aren't any sports on TV he watches FOX news. That alone would stop me from ever considering being a republican. Sometimes I just have to cover me ears and sing really loud! :-P

I'm not sure there are any better practical ways the government can help people, my gf's parents are or were on food stamps and he works all he can, she couldn't find a job after she was laid off and is now on social security. I think he social security moved them off food stamps actually. But they do what they can and at their age and health, there's not really a lot left they could possibly do.

Fox news is terrible and a cause of the extreme polarization between the parties now, it's extremely biased and full of lies. It's borderline propaganda.
