I would really like to see some of those wispy space "spines" remaining, because it reminds of his nightmare smoke. Otherwise the sketch looks perfect! :)

Hmmm. The sunset version is lovely indeed. I'm unsure about the high contrast orange in the tail though. Is there any way to get a version that tones down the oranges in there?

I think part of my issue is also that, well, oranges aren't typically found in space. :P Reds and blues, baby. So, it's throwing me off a bit.

No orange in space? Huh, how unsporty of it. :'d (I had an orange / red space background on my phone for the longest time; how rude of it to be a fraud. (laughs))

Is this a bit too pastel-y? I can do a dark / black + bright colours version as opposed to all-colours, but that'll require a bit more work, so I thought I'd offer this first. Let me know! (:

Oh wow. (laughs) This pic is going to have a lot going on it it! I might have to simlpify (& most likely shrink) that throne a bit (keeping the size ratio is going to make Bunny Jackson ridiculously tiny at 200 x 200 px, and I kinda assume you want to see him :'d). I'll have to see what it all looks like in practice when I get into the sketch.

As a visual learner / understander I much prefer you screwing with my sketch over us going back & forth ten times as I try to digest the text info - no offense taken whatsoever (laughs) Thank you for making both our lives easier! d:

Haha, okay, there's not to say [I]no[/I] orange in space (I mean, look at stars - cooler ones are red and orange) it just isn't as prevalent due to the chemical composition of most of space. Also, orange is just at an awkward wavelength that makes it more likely to be overshadowed by yellow or red. Must space images are exaggerated, but it doesn't mean they're any less real- mostly, the human eye is kind of crap, so something like Hubble is taking a whole slew of images at different wavelengths, and merging them all together.

So there's your lesson in astronomy for today :P As for the image, I think I might like that a lot! Putting that on a dark space profile background is going to be absolutely gorgeous. He'll pop like nobody's business. Thank you for all the back and forth. Hopefully it hasn't been too painful!

Hi! I adore this. =D Writing you up - thank you! (I've already got a clear pair of images in my head; gotta sketch 'em asap before I forget!!)

The difference between floof & quad is that quad is more normal whilst floof is [supposed to be] cutesy/chibi. So if you want cute, go floof! Or if you want A Pair of Normal-Looking Birds, quad might be the way to go! :3 Hope that makes sense!

I think he looks amazing, especially loving the light effects of the sun and all the dark, but still visible colors in his body - looks like you had fun with him! :)

There is one tiny thing though. I fear that his fang which is in front of the maw (the right one in the picture) might get a little lost in the 200x200 version - do you think you could either darken the maw behind it or make the fang even brighter? A darker outline could also work, but would maybe look strange for this style?

Otherwise I wouldn't change anything! <3
