Yeah, we held off changing them because we had a feeling they weren't supposed to go. I'll let staff know that they're not changing to the new spelling!
vs kukri and khukri are different spellings for the same kind of knife; i think they should match.
- All of these items need to have the species names in the descriptions looked at. In a lot of these, there are a bunch of grammatical errors too, especially when it comes to apostrophe, comma, and ellipsis usage.
Aeanoid
Antlephore

Nothing for "Archan" or "Bhakoru"! WOOHOO!
Skipping "Blob" because... So many various issues...
Bovyne

Cadogre

Not sure about these ones: (And should that be renamed slightly to match the original that it's based off of?)

Multiple Species in Description
I think that's enough for now. Let me know when you want another batch.
vs. Considering you create the Not A Noob Picket Sign using the N00b Picket Sign, I think they should be spelled the same way. (I'm hoping for N00b, personally.)
Space vs no space - dream catcher vs dreamcatcher in item names.

The Carnival Beanbag Toss item was also allowing me to add it to my beanbag collection the other day, dunno if anyone has noticed that/corrected it yet. I didn't put it in though. I assumed it was normal but if this is a new issue then probably not
ah my bad then. i've never seen a beanbag that wasnt, well, just a beanbag, so i assumed it was an issue like the ones mentioned on the last page. thanks for clearing that up lol
has bottlecap vs. bottle cap been mentioned yet? (i think bottle cap is technically the correct spacing but i personally tend to lean towards bottlecap.)
Another small thing:
should be changed to "Claire Nightgown" to be consistent with other item names.
Homegrown vs. Home Grown
[edit]
Not sure if this should go here...
Are all of the "cheese" items for Neugarten intentionally misspelled? They are all spelled with a "z" instead of an "s" and it's driving me crazy, but since it's on every one, I'm guessing it's supposed to be that way?
Fixed those two not beanbag beanbags the other day, if anyone had them in their collection they should have been placed in their inventory instead.
the items are not in my inventory and the account search brings 0 results :(
My guess on the 'cheeze' items is that it's so users can easily identify that they are non-dairy cheese substitutes, like how some of the zombie food items have puns in their names to clarify that they're unliving food (eg or the un-daes)
they/them/theirs, please.
Yeah, IDK about other places but in the US it's somewhat common for cheese misspellings (like "cheez" or "cheeze" or similar) to be an indicator that it's not necessarily real cheese but some cheese-like product. Whether that means a vegan cheese or just some heavily processed dubiously cheese-tasting thing. Or sometimes it could be because misspellings catch people's attention for marketing purposes.
Anyway, I did find one item spelled like that which isn't part of the new vegan stuff though:
, - Ah! That makes a lot of sense! It won't bug me so much now :)
I think that the Genetech recombinations can be kinda absurd and that since they are they can also recombine item name spellings. I.e. it would be consistent with the item being a Genetech item that it be differently spelled.
This is a bit late, but I just noticed that all of the items that were released in the Neugarten shops have the Artifact rarity (105).
Would it make more sense for them to have the Holiday Item rarity (175) instead, like the older Brewery Shop items?
I don't know if this was addressed anywhere, but can blonde be broken up between blond and blonde ? Just noticed this was changed and... I am not understanding why. Blond is masculine and blonde is feminine, and while I fully believe some languages put entirely too much emphasis on gendering random stuff (I mean for fucks sake, how is a couch or chair gendered), I oddly liked the distinction. Also, in America we use blond more often, and more gender-neutral. Click bruh... There are also other sites that say basically the same thing.
While I am here, the should be ballerino.
idk if this has been mentioned already, sorry if it has!
windchime vs wind chime
windchime
wind chime
there's also inconsistency as to which ones are chimes as opposed to just chime :>
