She was a bit taken aback with his sudden raise of voice. “Of course I did” She said softly putting her hand on his arm, it was warmer than usual so no frost appeared. Her eyes went soft when she saw his face. “I know that wasn’t all you, it was the part of you I don’t fully know yet” She managed to say before her hand dropped down from his arm as he moved away. “Ori….” She started to say as he ran.

That’s all she was able to get out until the confusion set in when all of a sudden she was in the arms of and back on her feet thanks to Mouse. “Wait what?” She asked confused, scrunching her forehead feeling the tingling. Jack stood confused for a moment as he started to walk away, his words finally settling in her mind.

“Wait! What do you mean?” Jack quickly scooped Bruce up and running after the angel. Eventually catching up to him, trying to fall in step, keeping her pup close. “Why do you say that?”

Valkyrie smirked, picking up his gun and slipping one of the man's extra mags into the weapon. She ran the slide and, without hesitation or breaking eye contact with Raurc, repeated his first set. Then she aimed toward the wall and, while still maintaining constant eye contact, imitated the second set by ricocheting the bullets off of the sound deflectors on the wall. With the rest of the mag, she drew a heart.

"Don't feel bad." She said, stepping close to reach around behind him and reholster his weapon. "I've got a genetic advantage. Basically a supercomputer for a brain." She went to her side and retrieved her rifle to keep shooting.

"You've unhinged her vision." Tsitua deduced, "Jareth, my arm." He calmly ordered. Once the new prosthetic was in place, he reached down and placed his thumb on her forehead and his first two fingers beside the girl's left eye. With a kind of meditation, he entered her chakras with his own finding her chakra heart. It was took the form of a smokey, silver orb compared to his own blue fireball. Hers was sparatic and deluded. Using his own chakras to influence her body, he pushed the medication back out the hole from whence it entered her. Once it was out, he released it.

While doing this, he had shared her gif for a moment, and now his past was muddled by present and future. He stumbled back but caught himself on Jareth's shoulder, shaking off the after-effect and returning his focus to Amuné. It was likely that she had experienced direct contact with Coodaudu, and he was interested to see her take on that brief moment of contact.

Suddenly, sitting in his solitary void, the daemon of the cold flame found himself in the company of a young girl. She looked afraid, but of what he couldn't tell. He didn't know fear. It took him a moment to realize it was the girl with sight, true sight. The one he had seen before.

He felt that they were in the same mind, but still separate somehow. "You cannot be here." He said, crescendoing to a snarl, "you have to leave!"

She did some fancy shooting without looking away from him, then leaned in close to give him his pistol back. This time he did lean away a bit. He didn't like folks he didn't know getting too close, and when he could help it, he didn't let them.

He looked over to the target, Harumphing as she went back to her lane. He pulled his pistol back out, and shot the last little piece of paper holding the heart in place. He set the gun on the counter, and under his breath mocked her "Mi-mi-mi-mi super brain Mi-mi-mi-mi! Fecking showoff" He punctuated his mocking with hand flopping, and putting his hands on his knees and pressing his boobs together with his elbows. He looked back to her to make sure she didn't hear him.

He picked the pistol back up and took aim at the target, then pointed the pistol sideways to the wall, as she did, and fired. The bullet ricocheted off the wall with a whirring noise, bounced off another wall, the floor, the backstop, and back towards him, smashing through the service panel on the back wall. With a dying BWOOOOOOoooooooo! sound, the lights in the range shut off.

He holstered his pistol, and ducked out of the range as quick as he could.

As he walked back down the hall, thinking about the gorgeous girl in the shooting range, when he came across what seemed to be the infirmary. He leaned against the door as he watched them work on Amuné. He stayed silent, until the adverse effects of the pain meds kicked in.

"Damn, she's doing what the kids like to say, 'Tripping balls'..." The leader, who's name had escaped him, somehow forced the meds out, a new arm already attached to the nub. He was impressed, and he had more to learn

Jareth quickly complied, helping Tsitua to attach the prosthetic to the socket prepared for it. "She should have told you," he said, brow furrowed in concern. "Why didn't she tell you she's essentially allergic?" He watched as the man went to touch her forehead, even as Shiva kept the Seer from grabbing her knife and attacking. He stood out of the way, watching, until Tsitua staggered back, automatically reaching out to steady the man. Something had taken place that he couldn't detect, but what? "Will she be okay now?" Jareth asked quietly.

Amuné's form in the void more or less matched her physical one, save that she appeared older, and at the same time ageless. The Seer was still trapped in her visions, and she mistook him for someone else as first, her expression filled with loathing. However Tsitua's influence stripped most of the layers away as he rid her system of the morphine, and her vision cleared. "You. I've seen you, watching me with that dirty look on your face. If you don't want me here, why'd you bring me?" she asked, unintimidated by his anger, and a bit annoyed with him.

"Well you see," Mouse began, pulling a bag of chips from his pocket and stuffing some in his mouth, "he'f cwearwy uhfwaid you're goan get huwt awound him." He said with his mouth full. He swallowed the heap of chips and dug his hand in the back again. He looked at Jack and shrugged, "He loves you. It's not like he's hiding it." He shoved another handful into his mouth and offered the bag to the girl. "Tabafco an' wafabee fwavuh." He said with a nod and a wink.

"No! You'll see! You can't see! You see NOTHING ! GET OUT." It shrieked at her before squatting down to whisper in her ear, "If you stay too long, I'll get stuck in you... And it might kill you. I don't want that, Tsitua doesn't want that, no one wants that, get out, get OUT, GET OUT!" It was afraid for her. The Daemon had known this would happen. Seer's were broken just like hybrids. He didn't want to hurt her. She was good. She was pure... He liked her. It crescendoed to a concerned wail as it spoke, fire licking higher and higher off of his ethereal body.

Tsitua saw blue flame between them for a moment, then it went back to him. The encounter was over, but he had no clue what had happened. "I want a detailed report the second she's fit." Tsitua barked, exiting the infirmary. He shoulder-checked Raurc on the way out, catching the man with his new arm before he could be thrown into the wall. "Good, you can receive your augmentations. Once that is done, you will interview every crew member under my orders. We will then send you back to your organization." He dropped the man and went on his way, passing Valkyrie on his left. She was making eyes at the human.

Clearly, the human didn't like being touched. All the more reason to touch him. She crept up begin the man and lept onto his back, shouting "ATTACK!" As she flew through the air. She squeezed tight on him, blowing raspberries on his face as they both toppled to the ground. "TELL ME YOUR NAME, HUMAN!" She shouted playfully as she wrestled with the Irishman.

She could've sworn she heard Lya scoff.

"Jareth, what does she take for pain?" Lya asked the engineer, taking his hand and locking eyes with him. She was leaning over, allowing her hair to fall over her shoulder and her shirt to droop slightly. It was her focused posture, a habit from not having a chair at her desk for years as she stared at a monitor and scribbled on paper. "Whatever she takes, I can synthesize here." She added, just before Tristan entered the room. Ignoring the entire situation, the tall, muscular man with no shirt and a thousand scars walked past them all, removing his destroyed bioflex, right arm. He placed the shredded prosthetic into a trash bin and took a couple of medications. Probably for his eye. It had been obliterated during the capture that lead to his dramatic persona change. His shaved head also had a couple of nasty new gashes, for which he was also taking sutures. He stopped by Jareth before walking out.

"I need a better one." Was all he said.

Shiva took the girl's hand, realizing how fortunate Amuné was that she had collected her and her friend. Much longer without aid and she would've gone insane and probably killed herself. Most seers end that way. Through it all, she couldn't help but be jealous of Lya and her perfect body. How can someone be strong yet soft, marred yet perfect. Even her face scars were pretty.

She pushed the thought aside, returning her attention to her apprentice, dabbing her forehead with a cold compress. She wondered how she was supposed to mentor when she was so broken. Then Tristan walked in.

(( I didn't have any intention of Amune going insane, do you want to discuss that? Her control is good, considering she's had to figure it out mostly on her own. But I can tweak that if you need.... Smail me?))

The Seer's heart went out to the demon. So fierce, but still fragile. Still, she wasted no time in reinforcing her mental shields, now that she could summon them once more. A layer of shimmering translucent diamonds sprang up all over her skin, making her every move glitter in the fire's light. "I don't think that will happen. I don't plan on letting it," she said, her posture relaxing as she placed a hand on the demon's shoulder for just a moment, the diamonds protecting her. With that she closed her eyes, and vanished, centering herself back in her own body.

Jareth saw Amuné's teeth clench in pain as she regained awareness. And then his vision was filled by Lya, and it was all he could do not to turn scarlet. "Uh, the usual stuff for minor things -- acetaminaphin is the one she prefers, though I think aspirin is okay too," he managed, wrenching his eyes up to her face. He didn't have the willpower to pull his hand away. Fortunately he was saved by a new man coming into the medbay with a wrecked prosthetic. "Uh, right...Victor and I will get on it. What did you--" Jareth stopped speaking as the man just walked right out. How was he supposed to make improvements without knowing what went wrong, and how the item had been used?! At least he could examine the old one. The teen went to fish it out of the trash. "Um...if Amuné's going to be alright, I should get back to Victor," he said awkwardly, not quite looking at Lya and just trying to ignore the commotion with the soldier fellow.

Meanwhile Amuné opened her eyes, looking up at Shiva blearily, face taut with pain. "Sorry..." she managed. "Should have...told you." She felt guilty for subjecting the others to that. She had little memory of what she had said, and no idea how it might have been received. She was grateful for the cool cloth, as she was now rather sweaty after her fit.

“You’re lucky I have a brother who tends to try and talk to me with food in his mouth” She nodded looking up at Mouse. “He may have said that before. But while I understand his concern, and I saw a bit of his I guess we’ll call it hunger.” Jack explained starting to pet Bruce’s ears as they walked. “I guess I’m just kinda obvious to that emotion” She shrugged “Never experienced it much. But that’s besides the point." Her head shook no in response to his offer. Bruce however tried sniffing and licking at the back as it was placed in their direction.

“There’s just so much that I still need to learn. Not only about myself but about everyone here. That includes him too, and if he keeps running that’s not going to work. I’ll just worry, like now. I know this place is huge, and well I’ve never experienced someone running like that. Who know’s where he could be now.” She expressed her concern and care. “I want to trust him, I want to be able to work together without fear.” She nodded watching the floor in front of them. “Those are very spicy, I can smell them from here” her concentration was broken a bit.

Kreos was in the middle of a quest he had got from an NPC in Destiny that required him to kill an unbelievable amount of "Fallen" on three different planets, when his stomach suddenly grumbled. He rubbed it, then went into orbit in-game, before simply turning the console off. He needed to find lunch food.

Kreos was walking down the hall when he heard voices from one of the rooms, that read "Infirmary" he peeked in, beginning to say, "Hey guys, is time for-" however he was cut off when he saw things like blue flames, Ruarc wrestling some chick, Amuné having something along the lines of a nervous breakdown, and other shenanigans. Kreos decided now wasn't the best time, and he walked the other way. On his way to continue to look for the chow hall, Orion ran past. Kreos was about to say something, but by the time he opened his mouth, the Ghoul was already down the hall. The demigod simply shook his head and headed towards the direction Orion ran away from.

Eventually Kreos happened upon Jack and Mouse. Kreos almost immediately recognized the angel and stated with a smile, "Oh hey look, it's that guy I gave a high-five."

"I'm Valkyrie! Hey!" She wrestled with him some more, ending up on top of him. "Tsitua wants you to interview you for your 'Intel' and I know where to find people!" She said with childish enthusiasm, "I can take you anywhere you want to go!"

"Okay, in fact, everyone but Amuné needs to go. She needs to rest." Lya informed them all. Valkyrie jumped up and took Raurc's hand, leading him away. Shiva stood and briskly walked out trying not to let them see she was crying over Tristan again. It was quiet for several minutes until some one showed up again.

It was the 'ghoul'. The princess wanted to study him anyway, so she let him in. She had hung the acetaminophen drip already, so she pulled up a chair for him. He just stood in the doorway for a moment, his terrified eyes fixed on Amune's hand. It wouldn't be long before the girl noticed him too, and Lya was on guard. She had never encountered a ghoul, and was not about to let him eat another portion of her patient.

The ghoul's red and black eyes were intoxicating. She couldn't not look at them. They were fascinating. "Sit down." She told him, going to her equipment to find a bioscanner. She retrieved it as he complied.

"Is... Is she okay?" He asked, his voice shaky and weak.

"She's fine." Lya half-lied. "We already placed a working prosthetic. She'll ache for a few weeks, but the bioadaptation nanites will do their job to repair the nerves. They've already reroute do her blood vessels and attached her tendons to the socket."

"But none of that should have been necessary." He countered, hanging his head low.

Reluctantly Lya put one hand on his shoulder just before consciousness was more fully returning to Amuné.

"I heard you're gonna train directly with Tsitukaiza." Mouse said, pulling a large cup of koolaid from nowhere and gulping at it. His chips had vanished without either of the two with him noticing. He finished his gulp and added, "good luck keeping up with him, demigod."

Demigods, the grandchildren of the Angels, lived in a skewed view of things. Their entire lives they were taught by the gods that they were the offspring of the all-powerful rulers of the universe. In truth, the gods were simply the first generation of humanoids. They were blessed with power and imortality, and the ability to exist on a similar level as the Angels. But they were fickle and they fought each other. They were imperfect, so they lost their right to enter heaven and decided to live as 'gods' among the humans of earth. This gave birth to the demigods and a crowd of unnatural beings.

Tsitua was a human with the perks of a daemon (a neutral demon). The combined chakras of a top tier daemon and a pure-hearted human were a force to be reckoned with, and Mouse wasn't sure Kreos realized what he was up against.

He returned his attention to Jack, taking another gulp, depleting the juice. "Let me show you something." He said, leading her to the cargo bay. As they walked into the enormous room, Marcus and Eric were moving massive metal crates of supplies into their respective places. "Marcus is a full fledged devil, but he decided he didn't want to be evil. So he joined this team. He's the oldest living member. If he can find a way despite his nature to destroy things, I think Orion will figure it out." They stood there watching Eric and Marcus work. It was quite a site, seeing the lumbering hulk of a being contribute.

After the moment had lingered for a moment, Mouse broke the sentiment by taking a foam fire extinguisher and separating it at the devil, coating its face with a thick layer of foam bearing similar consistency to shaving cream. The beast shook it off (mostly) and let out a snarl as is ran at Mouse who took of in another direction. Eric facepalmed and went about his work.

Tsitua entered the war room. It was a chamber with a holotable specifically for coordinating his tactics. It was the only light source, so the rest of he room was very dark. He brought up all the files Victor had compiled over the last twenty-four hours. Kabuto was now a high class devil, and was striking on neutral ground. That could only mean that Hell was doing some recruiting of its own. With Lucifer gone and the entirety of Denosealious eradicated, what could the motive behind the demons' mobilizing be?

The hybrid took different photos from his implants and displayed them over the table. They were things he noticed about the fight with Kabuto. Just as silver could be used to kill demons, the gold caps on his fangs could be used to kill an angel. Where they going to strike heaven again, or was there something else? There were too many unknowns, he needed to get personnel on the ground and figure out what was going on, but first he needed to consult Kreos's grandfather. Vatchious, Death Himself, father of Thanatos. He was the unknown factor behind the god and his son. He ruled the place that lingered on the line between physical and metaphysical. It was a planet on the edge of space.

He opened a channel to Victor, "Tell Lya she's in charge again. I'm going to go see the boss." He said.

"Your personal jump ship is already prepped." Victor replied.

With that, Tsitua exited the war room and headed to the hangar bay.

Jareth fled as soon as he reasonably could. It took him a while to find his way back to where he'd began, but eventually he found Victor. "Hey, some guy with a bunch of old scars said he wants us to replace this," the young man said, indicating the broken arm with a tilt of his head. "And then he dumped it in the /trash/. How am I supposed to figure out what needs improvement if I can't take a look at where he wore it out the worst?!" Jareth had a smile to show he wasn't serious about his complaint, since he'd recovered the prosthetic without trouble.

As the mild painkiller took the edge off the ache in her hand, Amuné started to sort through the slivers of what she could remember from her fit. That type of vision was the most inaccurate, but she'd seen something else in the void where the fire demon dwelled. Opposing forces gathering, and Tsitua on his own. Cautiously she tried flexing her new fingers. They responded, but the motion hurt so she left it alone. It felt very odd, and she was sure she'd need time to get used to it.

She sighed, and looked around the room as the door opened to admit Orion. It seem the crowd had left, save for Lya and now the ghoul. "I'll be okay, Orion. I would like to know what prompted that, however, so I can avoid repeating the mistake." Amuné gave the ghoul a half-smile, wanting him not to be so hard on himself. Mistakes happened, and she'd had serious injuries before, though nothing quite so physically permanent. She was lucky that the technology here could fix the consequences of her error. "I was trying to keep you from charging and getting yourself injured or worse. Whoever that was, he was very powerful and very dangerous."

“Hi Kreos” Jack said softly even though she wasn’t the one being addressed, it was just the way she was. Just listening to them converse, she kept playing the conversation in her head as she played with Bruce’s ears. Who was rather disappointed in the disappearance of the food. “Huh?” She snapped back to reality hearing him speak to her again. “Alright” She nodded following. Looking around the bay, she could feel the floor under her feet shake a bit. It was soft but noticeable. “Yes, that makes sense. I do believe that Orion has it in him to do that. I think he could possibly be a help in that too. Balance and control” She nodded watching him work. That was until Mouse pulled his prank he had planned. The vibrations in the floor got stronger, which is all reasonable.

Leaving the two to settle the issue, she carefully wandered over closer to Eric. Trying her best to keep out of his way. Jack was just curious and wanted to look around a little. “If I’m in the way just let me know, I can leave” she let him know, glancing back over her shoulder at Kreos, not noticing Mouse and Marcus any more.

((OOC: Just wanted to point out that Thanatos is one of the gods closer stemmed to "Chaos" where all beings come from, which even though he is considered a minor god, he is older than the major gods. Thanatos is three generations away from the chaos whereas the major gods are 5-6 generations away, so by that logic, apparently Kreos is on the level of angels, unless you're counting Vatchious to be the offspring of Erebus and Nyx , then Kreos would be one step below angels .__.))

"Oh, don't worry, I don't exactly plan on training with just Tsitua." Kreos said with a slight smirk and a wink. "There are other places I plan on attending during my little stay here." He then turned to Jack to acknowledge her with a nod as she quietly greeted him. The demigod decided he had nothing better to do and simply followed Jack and Mouse to the cargo bay, hands behind his head.

Kreos bursted into laughter as Mouse sprayed the devil with the fire extinguisher, and ran the two of them ran, reminding Kreos of something similar to a particular cartoon about a black cat and a brown mouse.

[ I see your point, however I'm not basing this storyline off of Greek mythology. This is a plot that I've been working on for years, and the Greek creation story does not apply, neither do the usual bible stories. Angels, Demons, Daemons, Celestials, gods, and so on are simply the names given to these beings. In the story, the "truth" behind all the mythology and religious stories is very different from what is "known" by the humans. "Angels" are, in my story, the highest tier just under the mysterious "almighty". Just under them are the various daemons and Celestials, then the gods, then the demigods, then humanoids, then finally the humans of earth. Gods include all kinds of different cultures' mythology, and many different creation stories, so it wouldn't make sense for one culture's creation story to be the true one. So I created a whole new story. In fact this higher gods like Chaos, Erebus, and Nyx are be the Celestials and Daemons (neutral Angels and Demons) that spawned the gods. If that makes sense. In the beginning of this I mentioned something the lines of all stories and mythologies being true, and I apologize for not being clear, but this is the way it has to work in order for all the different stories and mythologies to work together and make sense.]
