Sounds like you're trying to decide what is and isn't problematic and trying to say that my point isn't valid. You don't live my life or anyone else's either.
I certainly have an opinion and it's valid. Yep, I get to say what I think is and is not "problematic." I certainly get to say what I think is and is not valid. There are plenty of people who claim to have disabilities that are lying, are exaggerating, etc. For the last time I am NOT saying that this is the case for ALL or even MOST people with disabilities, simply a portion of them. I will not blindly believe everything people say on the internet or in real life because I am not an idiot. I also am not stupid enough to think, "You have a disability? I've got to believe everything you say and do everything you ask because you've got a disability and you're always right! If I argue it's problematic and I'm oppressing you!" No, I'm not stupid enough to think like that.
You're still going off on a tangent and trying to tell me what I can and cannot think and do. I don't put up with that. You are not going to shut me up just because you don't agree with me and you don't like what I have to say. Block me if you don't like what I have to say but know that I'm still saying it. You do not get to silence me.
It's unfortunate that someone has a disability that prevents them from playing a game.
Whether or not this disability is actually a disability and if they really have what they claim they have is an argument for a different thread or in private.
People have disabilities of various scopes and degrees.
This site should not be forced to find activities that everyone can do, because there will usually be someone who cannot perform said task because of some reason.
bringing this back to the OP, these games may be tough for people with arthritis or poor coordination. Impossible? I am not so sure. Does this mean we should no longer have these games? No, these games are perfectly fine for a large number of users. We now have a skip button, so this only prevents the users that have issues with the games from getting certain achievements and certain end prizes. There shouldn't be alternative things for people who cannot do these tasks, that creates inconsistencies with any storyline that the plot does have and it will always result in something being easier than something else. It also makes it a lot more work for staff because not only do more things need to be coded, but they need to think about who could possibly have any problem with what. At some point we have to draw a line and say if someone can't do something because of any reason, tough, they can live without the prizes. You can always buy the prizes later, there's nothing preventing this.
At this point, staff already has everything planned, we have a skip button, there's not much more that can come from this except arguing.
I would just like if the arrow games worked right. With the last one the only way the arrow directions thing worked was if I also had the mouse over the middle playable part of the game. It was a shitshow.
This is getting a bit off topic. Please remember to stay on topic and follow the Community Guidelines.
the mouse option never even works for me, so frustrating!
As one of the players with a disability I'm happy with the Skip button. I'm also happy with not getting the prizes for the Rowboat part of the plot.
