I just made two successful file uploads using old SF styles. Did you try again, or can I have a copy of the file for testing? Underscores don't appear to be an issue. It'd be something that could screw up the SQL query to give that error.

What was the title for your attempt and description?

I too am getting the "Failed to insert avatar into database" message when I try to upload from my saved files. Every field was filled in and the HA was the right size. I tried a second time, making sure everything was right, and got the same result.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask and who can answer, so I'm just going to ask here:

Are we allowed to upload avatars with items that we do not own? The rules state that it has to belong to you, but I'm not sure if this refers to the whole avatar (as you crafted the avatar yourself) or the items (you have to own everything you use).

you don't have to own the items. What it is meant by you have to own it, is that you need to have made the HA and not copied someone else's and claim it as your own. So you can use a generator or the all items on subeta. You do not need to own all of the items, just the HA.

The "upload from subeta" option is still showing this: And when I publish it, it publishes that HA instead of whatever I have.

Well damn, you were caught up in the stolen identities glitch and had your Subeta connection UserID changed.

I've reset your account and you just need to reconnect your account and you'll be fine!

You should be alright now. I didn't know the bug applied to both upload forms.

YAY profiles! I'm loving it so far, though I haven't had the chance to upload anything. I am wondering how easy/difficult it would be to add options to the login pop up:

1. See the password as you type it (I generally use Swype on my kindle)
2. Stay logged in

1. Maybe we can look into that, but I'm not sure its a viable idea. I'll consider it though.
2. When you login you're logged in for 2 weeks. If your cookie for the site gets deleted, then you will be logged out!

Also, I think it would be nice if clicking on the avatar on the "My Submissions" page took you to the page above. The 'view avatar' button isn't intuitive, to me.
