pretty good.. got a little summer holiday now after a 5 month internship in Nijmegen. I'll be going abroad for my second internship :D so that's something I still have to do some work for before I can start.

We did the whole living room. Everything new, paint, floor, walls, furniture etc etc. And i try to be creative haha. So this is what i did, with an old box we had. This is how it was. This is how it turned out. I want to make some text on front of it. But didn't find the right things yet.

Thanks so much for sharing that with me. I think you ARE creative. It's a very pretty style and it's appealing because it's "feminine" w/out being too much. I like the simplicity of the basic black and white that's offset by the subtle touches of color. The candles add a lot of warmth.

Oh, I'm sorry about your mom, that's a long time already, you must have been very young. I thought that she was about 18 there. Did you have that on your profile at neopets--it looks very familiar (reminds me of something I saw years ago on a profile)

No i didn't have that photos years ago. I think i have this photo now for about 3 years. I got it from my moms brother. He was the one who had it. I was almost 18 when she died.

Yeah, I think of almost 18 as being pretty young, though. I'm 60 and both my parents are in their 80's. I don't know anyone my age (or even as young as 50) who hasn't lost one or both of their folks. I've lost my best friend, my husband, my ex-husband and a couple of other people in a very short time recently, though. So loss comes at us, it's hard and I wish it were different, but I guess that's life. I don't mean to be callous. I'm pretty broken up over all of it, but just don't want to be maudlin here. Well thank you again for sharing all of that (photo as well as info). I'm glad you got that from your mom's brother. It must mean a lot to you to get it after so many years.

Hi So here I am. I realize that mermaids are a year round occurrence, and not just for summer, but I NEVER use these items, and it was very fast and easy to put this together, lol. Everyone looks very summery and fun!! :)
