keep in mind that the changes are also made so that all restocking items are ones people are actually buying out of a shop, so if only a few normals are stocked and they get bought quickly, the system is accomplishing it's goal. This also means that things are going to sell faster because there's no stale items, so a shop could stock and be sold out within a minute especially if people are doing quests that ask for those items within that minute.

. Restocks have definitely been a lot better today. Yesterday morning I was in various shops just as they restocked with nothing new coming in. The tweaks have obviously taken effect at last.

I would definitely be frustrated if I was trying to restock throughout this whole process XD. I have some confidence from what's said though that overall, for people who are serious about restocking, it'll work out very well.

As a serious restocker I can say I'm totally happy with the system since the changes last Thursday. Fingers crossed that all extra peeps questing don't break the system and things have to be tweaked again. :)
