Kysta: Wow, that job turned into the most boring thing in no time :) Is it supposed to stay that way, or will there be other things for you to do some time in the future?

Yarn: I wish you a fantastic stay in NY! I assume if you have relatives there you've been there already before, but I guess there is still so much to see (besides family). And yes, achievements can take a lot of your time. Last winter I was able to finish some of the SBQ ones. I do them rather randomly - there are just too many.

Hey ladies! We have a DO NOT GO OUTSIDE warning in effect till about 8pm tonight. Our heat index is climbing to 105 here today. And let me tell you, just walking the dogs sucked the moisture from my mouth and had my back drenched in sweat. 15 minutes tops we were out there.

Both hubby and I are originally from NY. I grew up just outside of Syracuse (Upstate/Central), and my hubs is from the City/Long Island. We are going to be visiting his family to celebrate his and his sister's birthday. Only a short trip (dogs, work and extra curriculars to get back to) and no time for fun stuff. ;)
