Hey all! Back from New York. It was a nice quick trip. So glad to be home!

I haven't read previous posts, I'll go do that in a bit. We have to do a food shopping because there is nothing here to eat. LOL

Kysta, I'm sorry to hear about the fire. It is good that your relatives have people who support them now. The most important thing is that nobody got hurt, but starting from scratch is nevertheless horrible.

Weather is crazy over here - one moment it is perfect summer, not too hot, sunny, light breeze, the next moment it is utterly dark, heavy rain and storm. Then it changes to perfect summer again... well, I will have to time my stays outside a bit better, got thoroughly wet :-D

i lost 30 kilo's no clue what it is in pounds. It helps to eat 3 good meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) and 3 small meals. Keep away from the sweets. Eat more veggies & fruits and i also go to the gym.

I'm around for a bit today. The girls are busy cleaning up their room and redecorating it. Dishes are going, laundry in the wash, dogs napping happily. It's a good low key day. Probably get some more crocheting done this afternoon. It's a scorcher so we are hiding in the AC all day.

, I don't have a specific method, I quit drinking coffee because I like too much sugar in it, that would be how I started my day! I also quit drinking sodas....because they're just bad! I only drink water now and that has really helped take the pounds off. I watch what I'm eating, I cut the portions in half and use a smaller plate. I eat a lot of salads and weight watcher meals that I make myself (I put some of the recipes in the recipe section of our group last year) But, I'm not quite sure where that is now.... I'm not into fast food at all, I just prefer to cook my own food. Since my neck is finally starting to get better, the treadmill is all I can really do at the moment.... I'm trying so hard!!! It's a constant battle because my boyfriend LOVES chocolate and everything that is fattening!! lol He never gains a pound!

I hurt my foot at work yesterday and had to leave early. I thought I'd be better by this morning, but my first step out of bed definitely proved that to be overly optimistic! I hope this clears up soon. I REALLY don't want to have to get workman's comp involved.

People tend to think my job is sedentary but we're constantly on our feet! (I'm a librarian.)

Thanks for the advice about my foot :) I've been taking it easy and it seems to be getting better, although it still has a ways to go. Luckily, I happened to be off this weekend anyway, so I don't have to worry about that.
