I like the new, unannounced event. Needed that break in the monotony of things. At first I was a tad bit annoyed that my avvie had lost its luster and I couldn't figure out why, only pointing the finger to the other recent wardrobe glitches, but then I found out it's a surprise event and I was happy happy joy joy Can't wait to see what's next. :D

People have been going gray since Tuesday?? :O how did I not get this event I'm so sad now.

Still nothing for me. I've been clicking around like crazy. In fact I haven't had many RE's at all. Hopefully soon.

I somehow missed seeing the event, but I suppose I've gotten it since my HA is pale. Excited to see what happens next!

- I'm assuming I got it while I was doing quests last night, since that's the only thing I did before noticing my HA had changed. So I'm going to guess you could pick it up anywhere on the site.

Reading this whole thread because I was just wondering when the next plot/event was going to be AND IF THIS REALLY IS A PLOT I AM SUPER FRACKING EXCITED WTF OMG. Also good to know my HA isn't being grayed out for no reason, I was really weirded out at first haha.

Actually the Familiar item is a reference to the Companions of the Valdemar/Velgarth series of Mercedes Lackey. This is a little off-topic to what you were talking about / making a joke of but I really wanted to point it out. xD Even though it's possible you knew this already haha. I'm literally reading one of the Valdemar books right this moment though, heh.

Is it just me or is your hair different in places on the washed out-grayscale version versus colored? o_o Like there's a small tuft on the left that isn't there anymore, and the area around the ears is much different?

They'd really better not code jumpscares into the site - that could EASILY trigger / upset a lot of people and would not be okay.

I have no idea when I got the event, but I spent nearly 2 hours last night playing the slots. :'| I was convinced that I didn't get it at all even though my HA was turning a bit dark-ish. My brain was apparently unplugged all day yesterday.

This afternoon, I get on and poof - I'm in full monochrome.

I'm guessing that the actual event/plot will start today, since it's a Friday.

It kind of reminds me of that episode of the Powerpuff Girls where everything turns black and white. XD

Also, the ideas people are posting are making it exciting!!

I started thinking about this since not everyone has gotten the event. Maybe sides are being chosen randomly and there is going to be some kind of competition. IDK, just think....

Also something else I thought, since they're doing this as a random event and not something that everyone gets at once. What if not everyone ends up getting tired before the next part starts? Maybe there will be two sides of it between the people who got tired and the people who didn't? I don't know, just an idea.

- We had the same idea! Except I wasn't necessarily thinking competition, but maybe the half that doesn't get tired has to figure out what happened to the rest of the users while the tired ones have something else to do.
