I agree 100%. Something about her looks really, painfully awkward (nothing to do with her weight, since I've been seeing some negative comments about that), but she just isn't nice to look at..

I love the revamp a ton and really enjoy the variety in facial features we're getting (that are not only less anime cookie cutter but also less western). The comments on the news post means posting this link to remind people of the variety of facial features.

Love your edit because it remedies the shoulder and neck proportion concerns I had and I agree with the change towards darker hair and skin.

This revamp is a huuuuge improvement from her original pitiful state. I almost wanted to agree with wanting the tattoos a little darker, but part of me doesn't want it to be (so when it comes out as a wearable, it'll really look good on darker skin tones). With all the requests flying about, I can't wait for the belt, dress, and other Shinwa wearables to come out :D

I just want to say I really like the revamp. There are some small issues mentioned by other users here already, but they don't bother me much. The old version always irritated me somehow...So thank you for making me love Shinwa again.

I like the fact that she looks more "realistic" now, however overall, I think she looks ugly.

Please don't change her, she's absolutely lovely, it's like the sunshine coming out of her.. I don't know how to explain, but she's really representing a goddess, like she's pure and saint "^_^

Cheers =D I thought her neck was really off centre when I first saw it, so I got a bit confused when I took a closer look and realised it was an illusion. I think there is a curse on Subeta, point out that an NPC's neck IS off centre, staff correct it in later images and somehow it still looks off centre XD The wonky curse of Subeta.

I like the darker skin on your edit better, the darker hair...not as much. Original hair color + darker skin would probably be my lifeblood!

I just felt like darker-skin + more bleached hair was closer to one would look like if they were Saherimos-bound. I suppose Shinwa can just go in her temple's garden to tan or something.

I think my issue with the darker hair is that it's close to my hair color, and with Shinwa getting close to my body type, I...would rather not be a sacrifice to Merana this year?

I actually love this revamp! I feel like there's something just a smidgen off about the face... I think maybe her eyes are too far up on her face for me, when compared to her hairline? As a non-artist, it's hard for me to pinpoint specifics sometimes, and this is one of those times.

I think her body shape is perfectly fine -- it's nice to see a female whose body shape feels similar to mine :D Her clothing is amazing and I can't wait to see the new pieces added, and her tattoos are such a vast improvement that I can barely compare the old pink blocks to these new ones ;)

If the artist decides to tweak things further, I'd be interested to see in what way(s), but I'm quite content with her as-is. I think she's adorable :)

Overall, I like her new look. there are just a few things which make for me no sense: I changed a few proportions. I'm not good at explaining things in english and a lot of people already did point out some porportion errors, so I changed everything to my liking(thinner arms, hands, bigger eyes, smaller forehead/nose/mouth) Feel free to use this as an overlay or something... it is not perfect, just wanted to share my thoughts on this :)

I love her curves, the tattoos and the hair. Great revamp! I hope the wearables follow soon!

so you didn't really anatomically correct things so much as change her to fit your beauty standard

when trying to offer input & critique, changing the character's appearance to be thinner and "more appealing" is not the same as actually correcting proportions
