Diva's Weekly News

November 4th will be the last day you may enter in any of the long-term [URL=http://diva.jcink.net/index.php?showforum=13]opened challenges[/URL] on the Diva site, after this date they will be closed and challenges that have not received any entries will be removed. We will be adding new challenges after this date, with one new challenge per week. We understand that our challenges have become slow & we are working on ways to refresh this! Thank you for your patience!

Our forum challenge will be extended until November 10th as we would like to get a few more entries in before determining a winner! Ping your friends/groups so they can have a chance to enter too!

Survivor is still put on hold, and may be subject to cancellation as a few members have chosen to be removed from the runnings. There will be an update on this specific event at a later date.

Diva takes a hiatus

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who continues to show support to Diva. Our activity, as most may know from our recent updates, has decreased to the point where we see no reason to continue Diva as it is. With a heavy heart I'm here to inform everyone that Diva will be inactive as of today.

Our most recent challenge ([URL=http://diva.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=728]Still Not Ginger[/URL]) will stay open until November 21st and will be voted on if need be. No new challenges will be added after today, and all necessary voting will be done internally with simple trophies being awarded.

All old challenges from last month have been closed and those with too few entries have been discarded.

Now, with that being said - Diva DOES have plans to make a reappearance. Ever since Diva switched hands of who runs the site, there have been features and ideas the staff has hoped to make possible. These changes will be implemented in the upcoming months while the site is in hiatus. There is no set date as of now for when Diva will return to an active state.

If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas about Diva please let me, , or know!

This version of Diva was amazing and myself, as well as the other staff, would generously like to thank everyone who helped make this version possible. As the creator of this site told me, "it had a great run". Thank you for sticking with us and we hope to see everyone back with Diva V.2!

Well...that's a huge bummer. :/ I've put a lot of work into my entries because I love the challenges and it's good practice. Is there an idea of when it might come back? In my experience, when someone says "we're going on hiatus but we'll be back!" they never return.

As of right now we don't really have a set date when we'll be back and at this moment we DO have plans to return (the future doesn't always do what the past wants though, but we will surely try!). We love challenges too and have plans to update how they are run and to add more exciting/active features to keep users interested. I'll update everyone with an actual time frame when we are closer to opening the site again. :)

I really just want to push that I never had plans to be running Diva when I first joined as a member. All of the site has been made possible because of the staff members pushing and wanting Diva to be better and kept it going. Their initiative has really been the driving factor which kept Diva around for as long as it was & with their drive I feel we'll be able to re-open a new version of Diva as soon as it's possible!
