grins. , that's one thing i miss about my grandmother passing. during the summer, I remember so many times, that we had "veggies" for dinner. i never noticed that there was no meat. heh. of course. she was from mississippi. so a lot of her 'veggie cooking' wasn't exactly 'vegan style' lol (like using lard) and cheese.

do you eat cheese? I don't think I'd mind going mostly vegan, as long as i could still eat my dairy products. and eggs.

there's so many soups i want to try! lol but my family doesn't "do soups" /well, sometimes. but usually that's a "campbells" soup kind of deal/

except for me. i'll do a 'beef' soup, that is so yummy (to me)

i want to try a split pea. but as i said, i don't make soups, so i'm kind of hesitant to try a pot of that, and then be stuck, with me the only one eating.

OH! i DID do a broccoli and cheese soup once, GARDEVOIR hahahaaa. i wish i had written it down! i started with a package from the store. but then. i added more cheese, and cream. grins. added more stuff. the boy and i ate it up. it was yummy. but it didn't freeze well AT ALL (silly me thinking it might) and like i said. i couldn't do it again, because i can't remember HOW i did it in the first place! hahahaaaa

You do realize dairy products are a huge portion of the things you won't eat when your vegan LOL at least 80% tbh

Broccoli soup is my fav! So yummy! You can come over whenever you want to make soup okay? =D

And don't you come to hate it when you've had it waaaaaay too much xD I am doing pancakes today and having canned beans in the afternoon /because I can't afford eating out and I am not that of a fancy cooker.

grins , yah. no dairy. which cuts out my white russians and my cheese (because i'm a real winer too) lol one of the biggest reason, i have NOT gone vegan. :)

but i still miss those "veggie dinners" we used to have during the late summer. when she would fix up all the veggies that we've got to get rid of, (because we've just can the shit out of EVERYTHING) lol

OMG, MY BOYFRIEND WENT ABROAD A WHOLE YEAR AND HE SAID HE WOULD SPEND WEEKS EATING TUNA AND NOT EVEN GETTING TIRED.

Tried that once. Worst thing ever I can relate to college thing, I am in that and well certainly I'd call it college=way no money.

I've done weird stuff like mixing the pasta with mayo, vegetables and sausages. It tastes good when you're hungry but once you're full it's all like "ewww, why am I eating this?"

Starting tomorrow I am going to have what we call "garnachas" which is basically cheap fried stuff such as quesadillas, tacos, and tortas. Cheap stuff, and also taking my own water because hey! Soda is bad and water's free @ the place I live in.
