Yeah I'm planning to hoard whatever I get at the moment. My speed is pretty low at the moment (as is/was sensible!) so we'll see how much of a game changer it is. If I can be patient!
I have had so much fun today. Between Battle Quests and the Battle Coliseum HRH has gained many EXP points which I have raised her stats.
The only thing I would like is for some of the visiting battlers. Ones that we do not have to pay for either from the Cash Shop or the Millionaire Shop to come back like the gelatin ones.
Maybe during the times between holidays. Of course some at holidays.
I realize some opponents to be more rare and sought after should be in the cash items or the millionaire center. There are wonderful things in them both.
I have found really nothing to upset me about these changes. My pet has gained EXP which I immediately trade for stats.

I'm pretty sure it's probably intentional, and even if it wasn't it's.. either a) probably not going to change now because it's too late or b) if it is changed there's no way wins will be reset again since people have already started battling and winning loot and whatnot.
Still, shame on us for assuming maybe the reason for the excessive exp verses stat costs were due to more exp being given out... not just a big FU for liking something too much your exp costs ensure you won't cap for another 5 years (unless you boost lawl) + the exp simply being reversed.
-laughs- Honestly I wasn't even holding my breath that the cap would even BE raised. I was honestly expecting Keith to pull the plug at the last minute and refuse to raise it because "it's fine where it's at"!
And/or it just being a ploy to get rid of all the t12 experience + finally fix it so capped pets can't earn exp anymore. Like, I literally was waiting to go AHAHAHA I KNEW IT!
So on one hand, I am pleasantly surprised that it was raised (I can train my bb again yaaay :'D!), and on the other hand... that's about all I have xD; I'm wondering if there's some grand surprise that knocks me out of my seat and wows me, but I'm not holding my breath for that one either!
Though I would settle on knowing what's up with this speed jazz. I like to think (even after leeching) Craig's speed is still pretty ridiculous so I don't think I'm going to be too effected by this... I'm vastly curious about what's going on there. I guess on one hand I can rationalize it (in battling games the faster you are the better chance you have of healing + attacking vs. attempting to heal and getting nailed?) but likewise idk it seems so late in the game for a total 180 on healing? I feel like I'd like more information about this.
I'm curious as i see the main reason this is being implemented is to stop us just throwing most if not all the 13k stats primarily on Health. An if that is the case i'm guessing we could be in for a shock on how much speed we need to have to reach the max % heal on our shiny godlies. But its all hear say for now atleast xD.
These exp costs are seriously demotivating. I'm not looking forward to this speed/health thing. I have a feeling that most of us will have to sink thousands of points into speed just to get back to the amount of healing we have now.
I'm not sure if this has been asked (i don't want to look through 5 pages sorry) but when we hit the old 22k cap will we unlock those new challengers?

I'd really like to see something like this (possibly instead of speed-based healing, still not sure how that's gonna pan out tho), especially the evasion part.
Speed need to be more useful than just for the first 1-10 wins for the toughest impossible level challengers. The challengers increase in hundreds of speed each win and quickly outpace your pet. Also, I don't find much difference the curse/blessing activation rate for weapons for low or high speed pets. They activate so rarely that 1-5 percent seems unnoticeable.
Is there still going to be a percentage heal cap based on 7500hp when speed factors into it?
There is now a tier 13, and exp payouts after win 10 have been raised a bit to be more in line with what we originally envisioned.

an extra 8k exp isnt much from Prodigy after another 10 battles. thats like 1.5 stats of health. and most IMP opponents get pretty tough after so many battles (or at least the ones that give out a lot of EXP)
50 EXP for an 11th prodigy win? That's insulting! Like leaving a 1 penny tip for bad service

[edit] Lol I just got 5exp for beating Aboxalypse for the 11th time, for the record I don't imagine beating him an extra 10 times would be as difficult as beating prodigy an extra 1 time.

At 4990 speed Cronus Blade blocks 130 Magma and heals 450 At 5003 speed Cronus Blade blocks 140 Magma and heals 550
Holy crap: 5,000?!!! Salima is level 1949!
Interesting re the speed difference! I have some time to get to either of those speeds :(.
