This is very exciting! I'm curious to see what that's going to be.
Also very interested in speed and weapons. Does that mean that weapons aren't going to have a hardset healing percentage anymore? I have mixed feelings about that, because my Tier 12 pet was like ~9k away from the previous cap, and her speed is under 3k. So if it's going to be based on a specific stat, I feel that it's going to way skew in favor of larger pets. Whereas now, it's a set percentage, so it's pretty much the same across the board. But idk, we'll have to see how it plays out, I guess?
The small fixed amount after win 10 is different for the different opponent difficulties. We'd been wanting to do that (and the exp increasing instead of decreasing from wins 1-10) for ages, so I'm glad it's finally live. :)
Will all those post old cap pets be t13 or is it a odd coincidence that the cap raise is by 13k?
Asking coz of the humungous xp costs post 22k stats makes things a lot, lot slower now that exp is the sole steady means of stat gain atm.
Javir and Arnold are both giving giving 5 exp after their 10th win. Recycle Beast gives 10 exp. That's less than I expected, but I guess I'm ok with that. I could probably beat Arnold several thousand times, so it makes sense that they'd keep the bonus pretty small.
But sP rewards still decrease with each win. Should that be changed? If exp increases with each win, it would make sense for sP to do the same.

can you guys comment on how much speed with affect healing? and what's about to change with heal? heal cap? 10% still the heal % cap?
just some guidelines would be great.
So excited to finally see the reset! Having the amount of experience your pets earn scare upwards instead of downwards is actually a nice change for a T12 pet, since it makes the 10th win a bit more exciting. However, I am a bit disappointed that the amount of EXP earned for wins over 10 is so minuscule (only 10 exp), it would be better if it was something like 50 so that it least felt like we we earning something. Not that it really matters, as it won't really affect my pets overall exp, but it's a nice gesture if anything.

I'd like to know this, too. It could potentially screw over a lot of people if it's a big enough change. I wonder if we'll be able to re-stat our pets when the time comes?

Question...since everything has been reset, does that means we get the prizes again for those special CS opponents? Like I have Fruit Punch...so after 10 wins, does that mean I get another Mega Fruity Egg?
Any regular loot you can get again, yes! In the case of Fruit Punch though, the Mega Fruity Egg is an achievement prize, so after you get it once, you cannot get it again.

I'm glad speed is getting some usefulness, this is much more than I ever thought it'd be. I'm definitely interested to see what the hard numbers are going to be before i start boosting like mad.

~ BUT I just have to ask this concerning the exp amounts... Ya'll dont want pets gaining stats too fast/hitting new cap and I can understand this, but Why not have the EXP linked to account age? Like: 10yrs+ - the original 1500 for HP and whatnot for the rest 9yrs - 1750/2000 for HP etc 8yrs - 2000/2500 for HP etc 7yrs - 2500/3000 etc Basically 500( or whatever number ) exp more, the less time you have been onsite.
Because, I can not be the only one who has been battling for 8 yrs and is sick and frakn tired of the old timers, getting the green wienie. =/

Hah, finally some justification to have been training my battle pet's speed near evenly with his other stats. x) I'm really happy for everyone who is finally able to keep training their pets beyond the old cap! In general these changes are exciting and I'm super glad to see battling get some real updates. Now I'm more motivated than before to get Halden to the old cap (just 1.5k around stat point away, now.) Though jeez, that seems like a lot of exp to keep training after that, haha man, I'm nervous for when I get to that point.

The speed/heal issue makes me nervous. I honestly hope it'll only be a (fairly low) set amount like speed has currently dictated curses activation rate on some weapons, not an entirely health amount paired thing! Not that we have to spend all the new XP on speed to match our health!

At this rate of XP and training time, unless the uber rich boost like mad, nobody is going to reach the new cap any time soon. Which means I'm out of the race in spite of the fact, that Subeta has stolen and not reimbursed me for a lot of my real money. Or are you at least now going to add a special GA feature back to BQs?
