I am having some difficulties here. Keep trying to make it darker but it keeps looking like these.Can't seem to make it a dark enough purple. 1 2

First image I love the main coloring. It is very beautiful! Is there anyway to have body and tail of the first one but the outer wings of the second? Like: mash up. I just copied the body onto the big wings. I guess the blue/purple is a little bit darker on the second and I like that. I don't now if that would be hard to do. But the colors for both are so pretty!!! So dreamy. :)
