Mask of Infamy through out both games. I hate fighting him.

Mask of Infamy sucks majorly! I have the worst time with Bloat, he is infuriating and I hate Peep enough as it is. You give him Brimstone and it RUINS me. What about your favorite sin?

That's pretty good. I personally enjoy watching Lust run around like a crazy person, as long as my speed is higher.

sweet jesus i love BOI i played about 80 hours of the original and i've got over 140 hours of rebirth i have the polaroid and the negative and i've beat all the bosses and extra bosses rn i'm trying to beat post-heaven and post-hell with all of the chars but i FUCKING hate playing with mag she's so slow ugh my favourite room is the kill-all-bosses room that occasionally spawns after mom; it's hella fun and the carnage is beaaaautiful u

Boss Rush is great! Mag is pretty good. I hate having a Lust room spawn when I just start a Mags run, it ruins me. Who is your favorite boss? Are you excited for Afterbirth!?!

i don't think i've even made it past mom with mag lol i can't stand her it's always the damned spiders that kill me too such a pleb T^T

i'm soooooo ready for afterbirth; there's a pokeball item! sign me tf up lol and idk.. i think my favourite boss has gotta be chub because he's just the right balance of gives-me-a-rush but doesn't infuriate me haha

what's your favourite weapons combo? once i got mom's eye (back of the head), triple shot, and mom's knife, so i had three butchers knives sticking out either side of my body and i looked a bit like a deadly little spider =u= it was pretty awesome

I think my favorite combo would have to be the brimstone x Tammy's Head combo. I initially got it as Azazel, which made me overpowered as it was, but then I got regular brimstone and it was like the octagon of bloody death. So good!

Chub is pretty good, what are your feelings on C.H.A.D?

I'm kind of a mega-fan of this series. I own signed limited print posters, figures, art books, comics, the tarot deck... It's probably the one game series I'm way too passionate about.

I've clocked about 300 hours on both versions, Golden God on both, just missing stuff like Godhead, The Lost unlock and a perfect run of the Depths. I got Mama's Boy before Depths, I don' know how this happens.

Have you all heard about Afterbirth? Are you excited? I'm also so jazzed for the New Nintendo 3DS version that will be coming out. It's a good year for Isaac. <3

Pretty big fan here! I've poured a little over 100 hours in the game, and I can't wait for Afterbirth to come out!

I recently bought a e-shop card to get the 3ds version in 2 days too. Although I'm not sure if I'll be into it as much as the PC version.

Yeah, kinda bummed the DS version need the newest model. Don't need to upgrade but now I HAVE to. Nintendo. ( ._.)9

: I was pretty bummed out myself, but I understand. There is a lot more processing power in the newer model, which makes everything smoother, especially for BoI. I was holding off until a N3DS exclusive came out that I wanted and lo' and behold. Of course it would be from Edmund.

my boyfriend loves this game and i enjoy watching him play it a lot. he just got the xbox version when it was released.

I'm not sure the forum rules on thread necro, but I just found this post.

I can't actually play the game because I'm totally blind, but sometimes I skype a friend who's playing and when they can they ask me what to do and I play that way.

I like all the player characters for different reasons, but the main reason I like the game is the story. It's graphic and kind of gory but I still think there's a lot of interpretation that can be done, and those are my favorite kinds of stories.

Again, sorry if this is too late to respond, but I wanted to. I also wonder if anybody has any BOI/BOI R fan pets. There's enough really interesting items on here that it wouldn't be too hard to make one.

The story is absolutely what keeps me playing too. It's pretty meaningful to me and the level of interpretation that can happen only makes it feel that much more personal? There's no concrete answers but there is absolutely an overarching story going on. (That MAY have gotten some closure finally thanks to the ARG Edmund M. did on the release of Afterbirth.) I sympathize a lot with Isaac and his struggles, largely on a spiritual level.

Good time to necro the thread either way, since Edmund just released some more info regarding Afterbirth+, the last content patch to the game. Get excited!

Also, funny you ask about fan pets since I made one just today finally, named after my favourite boss. Check it.

I don't actually have a fan pet, BUT I do have a graveyard malticorn, and I was thinking of putting in her treasure things I think the player characters of BOI would like. Things like vials, body parts, that sort of delightful stuff.

And thank you for asking about accommodations. As long as you don't type like a Homestuck troll, I have no problems understanding :P. I use a screen reader, so any type of text pretty much is readable.

What new info did Edmund release? I've been a little out of the loop for a bit.

Also, if you're wondering how I was playing when I skyped my friend, I'll tell you. She's played for hours and hours so she knows the rooms, and I know the sound effects of the game well enough to tell pretty much what's going on/what boss we're facing and how many there are. But yes, going to check out your fan pet now. Ridiculously happy!

PS: I can also id with Isaac's struggles, on a lot of levels. I also think some of this stuff happens in Isaac's head, but I haven't stopped to formulate a full theory yet.

I literally made Duke of Flies within the last hour or so, so your timing is incredible, haha. Because I've always wanted a Nightmare Sheeta and knew I'd want it to relate to BoI in some way. Maybe look into getting him a collection of Isaac-y things, like you said. Pennies, flies, headless things, etc.

As far as new info, I'll link it: here! Including stuff like dev tools so we can make our own custom runs and levels, daily greed runs, greed hard mod, 50+ new items, one more character to play as, new final boss/chapter, and more!
