Never hears of sand tart had to look that one up. A sand tart is what I would call a Mexican Wedding Cookie. If you believe the internet's recipe for sand tarts, the recipe is the same. Gingerbread is variable and only some of it is good.

Almond Brittle or Chocolate Covered Raisins?

Yeccch! Can I claim I'm on a diet?

If you feed the almond brittle under the table to the dog, the crunching will give you away, and chocolate is bad for dogs. Chocolate raisins are easier to palm off into your pocket, but the chocolate will melt. Breaking the brittle into small enough pieces you can pocket them and thrown them out later is the way to go.
