Cobb Salad to my mind is any salad chopped fine, but usually it's eggs bacon lettuce avocado chicken and a sharp cheese usually blue. The ingredients are usually served adjacent but separate with dressing on top and not tossed, because when they're that finely cut the tossed result looks like a dogs dinner even though it's perfectly tasty.

There's no reason you couldn't add sweetcorn nibbles as a separate stripe or wedge to a Cobb Salad.
