it goes the opposite for me - my knitting is quite even, but my crochet can end up a bit looser part way through o.O

Maybe you could try knitting a few granny squares - if they aren't 100% even, then it wouldn't matter too much, and they could go in with some larger crochet squares to make a blanket for Salem & Pusur? ;)

I've got plain purple, and a purple / black / white / orange patterned one - I'm thinking the patterned one could be the arms, and the main body will be the plain :D

if you make it about 15cm square, it'd be just the right size for a square, without being so fiddly it's a nightmare, or so large that it seems never ending ;)

The t-shirt is almost made laughs I need to get some purple thread to do the top stitching and hems, but the sleeves are attached, and the band around the neck is almost done :D

if you make the squares a bit larger than the last ones, it won't seem quite so bad ;) The blanket I started, had 15cm and 30cm squares.... although the 30cm ones seemed a bit big ;)

As long as it's either the same shade, or slightly lighter, I'm happy - darker thread seems to show up a bit more, so I'd have to make my stitches way too accurate :P

I did think of that one, but it wasn't really seasonal enough - they've got to walk back through some frost and snow ;) They work perfectly together! :D :D hehe she's pleased that everything from the pet store got delivered - no way would she want to carry all the pet food as well ;) :P
