: I just wanted to take a moment to wish all you a pleasant Easter Weekend.

We watched the Blood Moon this morning between 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Maybe I can get to post some of the pictures she took. It was pretty spectacular, I had never seen a total eclipse of the moon quite that total before. I hear that there is going to be one more total eclipse of the moon sometime this year, bringing the total for this cycle to four. It's called a blood moon because Earth's atmosphere bends red light toward the moon and is visible at totality.

and I went panning in Glen Meadow Creek by Dinky Creek, Ca. yesterday, hoping to find gold, but there was none. We did manage to find lots and lots of tiny garnets at about 40 grit size. If we had saved enough of them, we could have made a sheet of sand paper...( giggle ) Glen Meadow Creek is just liquid snow at this point. Our paws got numb holding the gold pans under the water as we worked them. Panning is hard work!

Yay for Season 5 of MLP FIM! It was awesome!
