If you don't mind, I would point out that they (Subeta) are picky about line work and the cw can't look to painterly. and the one with the smaller moon, the moon looks pixelated around the edges. I think if you make those tweaks you have a winner! You may also want to ask in the cw discussion thread for any other pointers. but again, nice job!!

I seriously know nothing about lighting which Im seeing is pretty obvious now that I look at it, Ike. You should have seen me trying to set up that stupid punk'in I carved for the achievement just to get the Oowel to show up in it. I wonder if I can flip the image.. but then I would loose the rock in the stream that the HA stands on and getting the bottom of the rocks looking like they do and that little ledge to look partially submerged took me hours to figure out.

I could loose the reflection in the stream and flip the background tho. I like the "thought" of Skitters having a castle in the SKUH-EYE but there doesnt have to be a moon in the water.

It took me a whole day to figure out how to make tiny marks in the rock shapes to get some sort of texture going. I havent done any graphic shit in years, so this was challenging and Im glad I gave it a shot, LOL

(arwen, Jules - I can't draw darlin's, I made it in photoshop with basic shapes and the transform options to shape them into what I needed. I even made rows of tiny bricks, LOL!)

I'm afraid you misunderstood the black eye. It was SF who received it and brother that gave it. SF is always the one to come out injured in these episodes, he's the smallest in the house weight-wise. If the contingency plan can be set into motion tomorrow Teacher will have full say over brother during classtime. Right now this idiot counselor has more say in what happens during classtime than Teacher does which is another piece of the problem puzzle. I'm sending out an email to Teacher tonight (well...going to try. I'm having a hard time staying awake atm) and going to ask Bossman if he can recommend anyone for something like this. Conflict of interest I think would keep him from taking the case.

Hey hey, I've been working a bunch and rarely have time for Subeta. I figure I'd pop by with the event going on. Yeah those bdc's are old school in terms of vaping technology. If you're still using the same pen I suggest buying a Nautilus Mini, the coils are better. They're BVC coils -- basically the upgraded version of BDCs, but I still run into that same bunk coil problem, about 1 in 10 -- made in china what else is there to say? Having said that I usually get them to last 1-2 weeks each. A set of 5 lasts a month and some change. If you want a upgrade to a new e-cig, I highly suggest the istick mini with the nautilus. It goes up to 10 watts which suits the nautilus well. You'll get more flavor than with the current set up.

I flipped the moon and hopefully got a little more outline/defination to my mountains but that's as far as I can take it this round. I don't think I've got time to scrap the idea and start over - I do think I'll read up on the line art and shading info that's out there, if they do another contest that's challenging, maybe I can come up with something else down the line but for now, I'm gonna stick with these final-final-final backgrounds, LOL!!
