How can it not be really, they're EVERYWHERE! How could anyone ever afford all the pretties they want? lol It's evil, marketing genius. Just like the new skylanders game that's coming out. Hmmm how do we turn kids' imaginations into an endless jackpot? AH! Let them imagine whatever they want and then make them buy it from us!! :D evil. genius.

Oh, no! A NEW Skylanders game? My grandson LOVES that game and those toys!!!

Maybe we should all band together and make CWs really cheap and give them to each other! LOLOL

lol I don't own a single CW. I kinda refuse. I'm going to buy a lairbear at some point. I really want one. I just think CWs are so expensive. They are amazing... but I kinda look at it as a challenge, can I make amazing HAs like all of you with CWs with only subeta wearables... LOL

I'm a dork.

Mmhmm :/ My son has only ever played them at other people's houses, but I found the trap team starter kit for $15 bucks so I got it for his birthday next month and that's when I found out about these new ones where you go on the website (and/or the game, I'm not sure) and make your own, save it in these crystals just like the trap team ones, and you play as your created character in game. So diabolical. And YES! Let's make them cheap! If I were rich enough I'd be making them and pricing them down in the 100-250csc range regardless of how much it cost to make them.

I'm with you. My CWs are almost (I'm pretty sure I broke down and slotted on something once or twice... though those are lost in my hoard atm) all either gifts, contest prizes, or a few I buckled and bought from the pawn shop, I can't stomach spending $7+ on one tiny pixel box. I feel bad enough putting any money into pixels and I allow myself $5/mo IF I feel like we can afford anything at all. (And YES YES you obviously can make amazing HAs without CWs, you look GOWRgeous dahlingk!)

And YAY DORKS! lol That's a compliment in my book <3

I feel like I kinda stole the outfit... LOL I got the wig on discount for 13mil which I was super excited about because I've really wanted it. And bought me the boots with her points for just 5mil. I was super fun to plan out.

I also think CWs should be in the 100-250 range. Anymore is just too expensive. I too try not to spend too much on my account in real money. I do spend some, but I look at it like a movie or a coffee... and not much more... and then I don't do that movie and coffee in real life.

for years I resisted spending money on Subeta, until I realized that spending money on cable television was the same thing..paying for pixels. Subeta is so much more entertaining to me then television, I have friends here, and I get to interact with the digital entertainment in ways that I cannot on the Tele. I think that spending $20.00 a month is so much more of a value then the $150.00 some people spend on their cable service...especially when there is still nothing on to watch despite having 500 channels. There's always something to do on Subeta.

At the same time, I think CWs are a bit pricey and I resist purchasing them. I think that those who are talented enough to make them ( or have them made ) and are good at marketing them should be able to charge what is reasonable to make a profit. I'm just not in that economic bracket. I like that I can make outfits in the Wardrobe using CWs and take a screenshot of those outfits to use any way that I want to ( like in Wayward Squirrel ). That's a cool feature that doesn't require you to purchase CWs.

I didn't think we were gonna make it.

The thing I asked for that we should get was a quest-weapon that generated random extra one-use weapons some of which are above tier.

You have an ectoplasmic ghost piece of grass in your animation ; it's disturbing.

I have twenty nine CWs, many of these are PS rescues but I would have bought them at the time of creation if I'd been around and had the speed to get the slots. Subeta has always shown support for artists and stuff and my own CW (wearing it right now, huh!) is a vanity item that few other people wanted. I see CWs not so much as a super ultra necessary feature so much as it is an opportunity to have fun with specific items if you really really wanna.

Many CWs nowadays are Private or only one or two batches. Given how many users we have here, all of these are a one-percenter thing. For the few CWs out there that were clear inspirations for sP and CS items created by staff here, those were definitely worth having the ability to create in the first place. Other than that, there's no reason they should affect anyone's life here all that much.

hehe a steal! So that makes you a, what do they call it in the Ross/TJMaxx commercials?, a Fashionista? nope Maxxanista? lol I don't know, but congrats on the good deals! I think of it the same way. Some put a few bucks on coffee or fast food or splurge on a movie or bowling, I squirrel it away and put a few bucks here when I can. ^_^

Agreed! I'm in a multigenerational house where it's not just up to me or else I wouldn't have a stinkin cable bill, I hate it! I like maybe 5 shows across three channels and I have to get the package with 100+ channels to even get them, 250+ if I want the kid channels my son likes, and regardless of the package, there's at least 5 biased news, 10 porn, 15 shopping, and 20 sports channels that I wish weren't there. So frustrating. I managed to finagle everyone into a decently small package and we got netflix. I would rather just have netflix! lol $8 instead of $80! Also same here with the all items feature, I love that thing <3 And argh I always forget about the people drawing them actually getting paid for the effort... I guess I just always see it as for fun and since I've never tried to make one myself, it's hard to get the fact that time/work goes into them to cement into my brain lol :/ I suppose I should just think of them as real life designer clothes, beautiful to look at but not something I'd ever think about buying. It's weird that I have that envy/yearning here, but it doesn't bother me not to have high end stuff irl... hmmm the brain is mysterious...

: I just saw that demonic blue grass yesterday. It's part of the blue-line sketch I made of Doom's tail in a layer that's hidden ( or supposed to be ). I'm going to have to re-render the animation later this evening. Just think of it as an absinthe hallucination and then you'll feel better. ( giggle )

: Oh, I agree, I could never afford designer clothes IRL either. Looking at CWs is kind of like window-shopping.
