growls Something is going on in the alley by the dumpster. I think something died back there. My dogs are fixated on it and I'm sure my neighbors think I'm insane by the way I'm screaming at the dogs to get away from it and come back inside. I think for the next few days I'm going to have to let them out one at a time on a tether. Hopefully a cat will come by and deal with whatever it is.

Heheh, there is no racket (except for the one I was making), just the dogs refusing to leave the fence and trying to get at whatever is there. If it is carrion, I'm hoping the stray cats in the area deal with it quickly.

Thanks I dont know I manage to lose it, and couldnt find any recent comments from me on the thread. My dogs sometimes just bark to imaginery sounds, probably the bats in their belfry.

LOL, mine do too, though I always assume there's something in the alley.

We have cats that prowl the neighborhood and make the dogs crazy. Crappy cat owners that dont keep them in at night, need to get an earful. I love cats, and if I had some. I would keep them in at night.

If I had a cat it would be totally an indoor cat. Cats don't need to be outside, unless you indulge in a catio.

Yep cats just mess in people's yards, dig in trash, and get squashed on the road. Indooors is better for them in a city.
