I have activities of some sort until I leave on the 7th of June. Never one for scheduling, but have been forced to. So tht i can see family and friends, but at the same time travel around. Rest of my time in Cairo will be visiting, and getting ready to leave.

I was actually talking to one of my coworkers this morning about how terrible it is when the injections don't work. They never really helped him and he finally had to get surgery right before Christmas last year because he had a disc rupture while he was unloading our supply truck. Hopefully your brother doesn't end up in that sort of situation but most of the people I've talked to about surgery say that it really helped them so if he can just make it to next winter here's hoping it can help him, too. Doesn't really make it any easier for him to deal with the pain or his family and friends to see him hurting but at least it's a faint glimmer of hope out in the distance.

My doctor hasn't really suggested the injections for me yet but I think that's mainly because I have a lot of other medical issues that have to be taken into consideration. It's just a really messy sort of balancing act, figuring out how to treat each problem without making any of the other problems worse or causing some entirely new issue to arise. Some days I wish I could just transfer my consciousness into a robot and be done with it.

Glad to see you're safe and doing well! If only I had enough wealth to travel and enough health to explore. I'd take your tour of Egypt in a heartbeat.

Today has been very long and very solemn and I am very tired. I am going to go try to do as many quests as I can manage before I just have to give up and go to bed. I hope everyone else is well (and well rested).

Hey guys. Haven't popped in here in a few days, maybe a couple weeks. Does anyone know if there is a thread for help with baking??? I am getting so annoyed trying to make those maple leaf cookies. I sit there and wait the entire 15 minutes, and I refresh during the last minute, waiting for it to be ready so I can get them at just the right time, and they are always burnt. I just had to buy Fantine a new sheet pan because I burnt those stupid cookies for the third time. So, how do I get them to come out right?

I was just thinking about what said about Apple and Osiris and I laughed because I just thought "Oh snap, so Anubis doesn't judge people so much anymore, he can just look at people's browser histories." xD New tradition, don't send people to the afterlife with belongings unless you have cleared the cache first! :P

Andreas if a storm shows up, ask the thunderbeings to come my direction!! I'm sitting here staring out the window in hopes that a thunderstorm will explode over the horizon. It's like someone sucked all the air out of the area but left the heat. Even reminding myself that it was just a few weeks ago the heater kicked in and I had it set at 68 degrees isn't helping!

I don't understand how the same treatment for the same condition can help some and fail to help others. It makes no sense to me but I know the injections didn't do jack, I could see it in his face. If they do suggest it, I say respond with a resounding NO THANK YOU - the last thing you need is for things to get worse with everything else that's going on.

I don't want to admit to how many millions I blew buying those things but to keep up with the Lady's gourmand tastebuds I had to! Now that they've added so many varieties of flour, salt and the like not being guaranteed to get baking powder is becoming a real problem for me.
