- How nice you could move there! I would love to move to any one of the areas where we camp :) We have a very small travel trailer (10ft) and very cozy. I've camped in the rain in it and enjoyed the sound of the rain...but the last time (February) there was a downpour and I discovered a couple of leaks. We are procrastinators and did not fix the leaks so I didn't want to camp in three days of rain with that. We love to take our dog camping and she loves it too. :)

- I remember you have a little fiberglass egg like mine. Mine has a screen/fan thing on the very top and it leaks. I think we need to put some kind of goop/product around the edge on top. Do you know what would work? Some rain came in the window on the side too...sort of seeped in so need some kind of sealant there too. We've had the thing for years and never have done a thing to it except new tires so now we need to give it a little attention :)

I just want to encourage you to take care of yourself, because it sounds like you are the type of person that cares deeply for others and have taken it upon yourself to see to their needs, which is extremely important and a worthy and noble thing to do. However, if you are not there to take care of them because you are ill or injured, then who is there to take your place. Those of us who are blessed with the responsibility for the care of others have a sacred duty to look after ourselves first, Only then are we able to give of ourselves to the service of others. @blackwolf_2009 : What?!? Just because I ate her cookies? If you had asked, I would have shared with you. I really didn't get much to eat today, a peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich on rye bread, some stick pretzels, a peach, a gin and tonic, a tortilla...basically stuff I found around the pantry ( beacuse I won't go into the kitchen....shudder....) Some humming bird nectar, a grasshopper, two jujubees I found under my desk.

: I asked Lizzy, our resident inventor and fixer of things mechanical about your egg, and she said that you probably need some silicon sealant ( whatever that is ). She said that it comes in white and clear and it takes about 30 minutes to be dust free, but 24 hours to be set. It is flexible, so it's good for fiberglass and it won't react with it. She also said that you may need to check the rubber gasket on the vent and around the window. Rubber breaks down over time and doesn't fill the gaps that it is supposed to after a few years.

Goodnight my loves, the gin and tonic has taken effect and i'm going off to bed. Welly is finally back from his all day Watcher Corps strategy meeting but he is staying up to do some reading about Admiral Lord Nelson's last sea battle at Trafalgar in which he was killed. Fascinating stuff.

- Way to go with the games! I'm trying to get through the final few thousand item vends before I never have to vend ever again. I'm also trying to slowly go through my hoard and decide what to keep or what to sell. Then selling... ugh, no one seems interested in what I have :/

I am just not good at them. As for spectrail - I never get any higher score then 125 or so, since my eye hand coordination is not that good (when it comes to playing games)

Bulging and herniated discs are a lot more common than most people seem to realize. I only found out about it because I got an MRI for an unrelated issue and since most people don't get x-rays and MRIs on a regular basis... I have one herniated disc and one that's bulging with visible perforation so one wrong move and it could blow out. They always seem to act up the worst just when I'm starting to feel relatively good otherwise. So I definitely feel for you brother on that one.

and The biggest challenge I've had in the past, I think, is finding people who are as ready to take care of me as I am to take care of them. I've been lucky enough to make some really good friends these last few years who are pretty consistent about reminding me to sit down and take a break and think about what I need but I went through a really long spell where that wasn't the case and of course that was also when my health started its natural decline. Now I'm sort of on a crash course for remembering how to take care of myself.

Also, my orchid is a spider orchid, which you usually have to buy directly from an orchid grower or from a greenhouse that carries more exotic plants. The ones most people think of when you say "orchid" because they're typically all you see in floral departments, flower arrangements, etc. are the broad-petaled moth orchids.
