: That is an excellent question. I don't really know what goes on in other communities, but in our community, all the small creatures wear clothing to some degree. It isn't for modesty, no small creature is ashamed of being without apparel, but it is more for social status, protection ( in the case of wearing leathers for welding or blacksmithing.) or enjoyment. I love wearing clothes, I think some things make me look pretty, but I am terrible at being stylish.

Most of the clothes in our culture and community are quite sturdy, simple, and utilitarian and reflect the trade or craft of the wearer. Think Victorian or Elizabethan.

Now on Subeta, it is a different thing, you see me as Subeta projects my image, a humanoid young female with a tail and ears. So, when I participate in events here in this world, I can wear more modern items as I interact in the Subetaverse. I just have to keep reminding myself that I do not appear covered in pure white fur and that I need to cover certain 'parts.'
