: Is Windows 10 any good? I heard that it has had a slow adoption cycle and that many users are sticking with previous versions fearing that W-10 will render their devices obsolete.

: I have felt disconnected, mostly because of struggles I've had with family lately. I'm glad that there is a place I can go when I have time where I can just chit-chat and feel no pressure. Sometimes life is so hard. Case in point, I just discovered that 3 months ago I earned a Long-Time Member achievement and that there was a Loyalty Box in my vault. I uncovered it after 's announcement and I went to look up how long I had been a member. Wow...talk about clueless and disconnected. I'm glad you folk still love me. I'm feeling tired and blue today.

We all feel that way at times, luv. Life is freaking HARD at times so much so it makes you wonder just how wide our shoulders are suppose to be. I've got some things going on too that have me wondering whats going to happen where I have to remind myself that no matter how much I worry or cry or stress over things the only thing affected by reacting like that is me. I can't control whats going on and can't be here like I use to be or want to be but our friends get it and let us know they're glad to see us when we are able to be around and that makes me feel 100x better =)

Hi dear.I'm not sure as i haven't downloaded it yet.I was leery of going ahead with it because i heard some things like you did too. There is always some bugs to overcome when there is a new program. That's why i've been waiting. But chrome has had some issues lately too...as did my new download from norton360.That's my virus protection. It has been a nightmare lately too. But now at home i'm done all the things from summer and working on my house.I took on the drywall in the west wall did some sanding and will probably be finishing up the mudding in there in the next day or so.:) GRINS....heh heh heeeee i love it that i am getting some things done. When i get the shelf raised in there(so my fridge will fit under it)i can actually start some painting yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa.Pours you a coffee and grabs a cookie for you, have a seat....... Hello Hi dear..how are you?

: Wow, you sound like you have a lot of inside work to do, are you remodeling, or is this a new build? How was your garden this summer? Ours had difficulty due to the heat, smoke and lack of water. The tomatoes were late setting bloom and struggled in the heat. When they finally set, and we were able to get an adequate water supply, we simply killed them with overwatering. The peppers did well, we are still getting many peppers. Fortunately, we are not reliant on my gardening for our survival, there is always Market Day. Weldon is going to make a pepper sauce from some of Poppy's Famous Ale Vinegar, some garlic and some carrots he got from one of the other gardeners in our building. It's really good on grilled meat.

Thanks for the cookies and the Swabbin Snail too. I sent you a sticker. ( I got it beating the Malise Bopper. ) It says "Glare" but I'm not glaring at you...( snicker )

: I am so not cool with operating system upgrades that instantly render your device obsolete. I upgraded my operating system on my laptop at home and it rendered my music and drawing programs useless and I had to pay for upgrades to those too. In my mind there is no such thing as a free upgrade to any operating system, it is all a ruse by Mac and Windows to force you into purchasing software from their partners. ( Rant Rant Rant )

: Darling...thank you for sharing with me, your words are so encouraging. I sometimes forget that I'm not alone in this world and that there are others who struggle. I've been in the healing arts for nearly all my life, and sometimes I have to hide behind my professionalism to protect myself from the brutality I see in the world. But that comes at a cost, by insulating myself that way, it can become a habit that causes me to draw inward and focus on my problems only. Sometimes I need a little perspective from my friends to reset my heart and point me in the correct direction. Thanks. Keep us in your prayers,

: I only wish that these companies would consider the fact that not everybody who uses technology is rich and capable of syphoning a large portion of their income into keeping up. I'm becoming more socialistic in my beliefs in regarding technology and I think that technology is a tool for discriminating information, not as a product to make a profit from, therefore it belongs to the users.

This is a remodel or upgrade to 2015 LOl from 1955....Now that is a big leap. The old insulation from 1955 gave out a long time ago.Soooo i am putting in a new type of insulation. The kind that is not itchy and is actually made from slag steel,so it is non combustible and has a melting point temp.of 2150F so it is also a great sound proofing material too.It costs 5 bucks more than the pink stuff that is itchy.LOL I'm putting in a new window in my bedroom.Another jump into the 2015 yr.I have farm windows in right now which lets in spiders, flys, moths and beetles..too bad it isn't the group(The Beatles)... Funny my garden turned out the same as yours...to much smoke, sun and weeds.I did get some stuff like beets, onions, beans, carrots(a few)LOL zuccini only 6.Very disappointing.Maybe i can find a market....:P Thanks for the sticker :)

I voted for you my dear ...loved your logo!!! I also gave Windows 10 the cold shoulder...heard about too many things that wouldn't work properly if downloaded, especially my entertainment center. Like they say, "No such thing as a free lunch". :)

I grew to really dislike Norton ...way too many issues. I switched to AVAST...I have the premier version on my laptop and Avast Internet Security on my desktop. Been with them for three years and they're great. Also got a free download security for my cell through them. Check them out online.

:Bleah! Spiders, flys and moths! Some beetles are tasty. ( ha ha about the Beatles. ) Blown glass is quite itchy, but it is pretty cost effective. I've never heard of blown steel slag, but I am well aware of what it is, believe it or not, I've done steel work ( foundry, welding, punch and break press forming and all plate steel is coated with a microscopic thin slag layer that turns your coat black ) so I know how durable it is.

: Thanks! I had fun making the logo. Poppy's Famous Wheezle Brew is made here in Glen Meadow by my Uncle Poppy Wheezle, the braumeister in our village. I wanted to honor him, but there are no weasel species in Subeta, so I used the indigenous 'pherret' in the name and I don't know if it translated. I would like to know how many votes I did get though.

: Yes, I studied metal crafting and worked in a custom manufacturing plant for a summer, before I took my apprenticeship in the healing arts. I used that experience to help me understand industrial lung disorders and develop testing and treatment protocols for my patients who are in the manufacturing trades. But I can weld with a stick, gas and TIG on steel and aluminum. I can also braise cast iron, and solder sheet tin as well as cast aluminum and bronze. However, One as fuzzy as I am needs a lot of leathers for protection and I've grown up a lot since then and no longer wish to come home black from head to toe smelling like something I've tried to cook. I like being pure white and smelling like rose petals.

Roses? Really? You are a mustelid. You stink like the rest of us, Ms. Fuzzy Butt.

Weldon...I smell like roses. I bathe every night with that pink soap from the Soap Frau, Mrs. Schlinker. She makes the best rose water soaps. What do you bathe in Mr. Smelly Bottom?

I lather up with Old Sea Chest soap I get from Berry the Soap Monger. It's made with seaweed and smells fresh and manly, like the sea. Mrs Schlinker is a lush and her soaps are made from booze she can't drink.

You smell like the bottom of a old pier....and come to think of it, that last batch of pink soap did have an off oder to it...

Yeah, it smelled like peppermint stinkbug.

Weldon.....you're weird.

: Thanks Luv, I appreciate the hugs. I think I'll feel more confident now just for having spent some time chatting with my friends in the Lair. What a surprise to find a Loyalty Box that is three months old. I wouldn't have looked except for your post! Thanks again!
