I have an announcement!!! WE HAVE A POTTY TRAINING TODDLER ON OUR HANDS!! I am so very excited. I have been trying for the longest time, and he has been resisting me. Now he is basically doing it all on his own. He goes to the bathroom at daycare, and stays dry MOST of the day. And when he comes home, the diaper comes off. He goes to the bathroom, or should I say, he STAYS in the bathroom. LOL. He will sit on the toilet for the longest time, even after he has done his business. But whatever works, right?! SO hopefully a week or two of this, and he will be good to go. I don't think he will be done with diapers at nighttime, though. But my baby is becoming a big boy.

Have a fresh potty chair always at the ready. Even if he wants to keep you company. Ever heard the saying, monkey see, monkey do. It worked for my youngest, he copied his brothers

getting slowly better, but kids are doing my head in, yay on potty training, Shannon is in the process too, she gets lazy at home as the bathroom is upstairs and I dont think she is too keen on the potty, but when we are out and about will ask for the toilet at the top of her voice shouting I need a wee wee

He has a potty chair, but he took it apart the first day I bought it and saved it in the closet. LOL. He wants to use the big boy potty. I also have the smaller seat that you put on top of the toilet, but he rarely uses that either. He is doing very well at it. I am so proud of him, and I can't wait until he is completely out of diapers.

That is too funny. Maybe you can try to get a potty for her that you can keep someplace downstairs? Maybe she isn't quite ready yet. But that is so funny how she screams in public. She must be just trying to show off. Mine has a habit of letting everyone around us know when he has passed gas. He yells out no matter where we are. Super embarrassing, but..... Love your HA!

we have a potty downstairs, upstairs and in the garden :) Shannon loves to say she farted, pleased as punch too, so unladylike, but I do know she prefers the toilet to the potty, she gets so happy when she has gone too

LOL. Children are so funny. He doesn't just say he farted, he shouts it. And then he laughs. He actually tries to do it on purpose. I hope that he continues to do this well at potty training. It has only been a couple days now that he is really interested in going, and asking to go on his own. I have not pushed him yet. He has gone on his own every time for the past couple days. Last night he sat on the toilet for almost 15 minutes while I was in the shower, and still didn't want to get up when I was done. LOL. I got him out of bed this morning, and I put him on the potty first thing when he woke up, and he used the toilet, so I am sure he will get the hang of that too.

I am glad for this, but I am still sad that my little boy is no longer a baby. I don't like changing diapers, but I loved having a little one. My little guy is growing up, and the past 3 years have gone by so fast.
