I am always at home playing games/watching movies and when we had money we used to go to the movies like twice a week (at least!) but now times are tough so we just find cheap stuff to do like going to the free movies at the cultural place (they're actually good even if not trendy! :D ). I wish Andres could get into my place so we could watch movies and play games, but only girls allowed here!

I don't enjoy public pools much.... Like 10 years ago I went to Isla Mujeres and there was a pool and there were these foreigners showering in a cave in there and when they left I went in and I saw poop floating around. It was so disgusting, I am more like into open places like the sea, the ocean, the river... but pools give me shivers. Crowded places tend to be dirty....

aww, so since he's not allowed to be at your place do you usually stay at his? and yes, money is tight here as well so we try doing free/cheap stuff together :)

what you posted is more like a Japanese onsen. we don't have natural hot springs like that around here. eww, I can imagine you not wanted to be inside the water then.

we actually have the best spa in Austria only 20 minutes away from here which is nice because I got some gift cards for it for Christmas :P yay for free afternoons :D

No, because at his place is his mother who doesn't want me so we don't ever get to be under an own roof and be free to do whatever we want :P So we do really have to think about stuff to do outside!

Haha I went and looked too and couldn't find anything, but I also didn't "translate" every post so figured I could've missed something. Still, it's great to see Silvy so happy :D

And Tom and I have been together about 4.5 years now and we don't really even have a yearly anniversary. I just count it around Valentine's Day, since that's basically the anniversary of when we first met (2/12) and then when we got back together after we had some issues during our first year (2/16). And we've been together ever since.

And, ugh, my dad had to go to the emergency room this morning. He had surgery yesterday and one of his incisions seems to have a problem. He has an old work injury that they operated near, and he feels that maybe his artery there (in his arm) ruptured. I'm really worried :(

Per person? Insane crazy, better be worth it. Do they have beds? futons?

Thanks It was a bad injury the first time and he was worried about being operated on near there. Yesterday, I was more worried about a different operation that was near his eye. They were both skin cancer cells and at least they think they got all the cancer.

I total knew you went to japan but totally forgot. Tell me.... I read something the other day about how japanese people is very racist and close when it come to foreigners and that there's even places that have signs that read "No tourists" or "Only japanese".

Is that true? Is it tought to handle with that racism over there?

I can relate to being so worried! I remember that when I got surgery to fix my ankle I was very scare and went into a denial phase in which I didn't want to get surgery (but wouldn't walk again without it so had to swallow it) but then I got so many pain killer medications that by the time I was undergoing the surgery I was soo high that I just went easy with it. Waking up from anesthesia is the worst feeling. For me it was like suddenly waking up and breathing after holding your breath for too long!

I personally didn't see or didn't read any of these signs. the only thing I saw is that for example for onsen you aren't allowed in if you have a tattoo (unless you cover it up). the Japanese people I met were all very friendly and kind to me. then again, I'm white so I do have white privilege. :( I don't know what Japan is like for a person of color.
