I have had this happen a few times now in the last couple of weeks. I play Subeta with a few tabs up, such as refreshing the Token shop in one tab, or looking at what Suboutique has that hour. This time I know with 100% certainty that the token shop tab had a malicious advert. The tab, once the ad is loaded, forces me directly to an offsite webpage. I haven't clicked the ad, it just simply becomes that new offsite page. This is about the third time it has happened in two weeks. I looked up the site it redirects me to, and it is happening on other forum / websites as well.

It leads to a site that is lemode-mgz, I will be filing a ticket with the entire link because I do not want other people clicking it.

Is it on mobile? Is the add showing up on the page or is it "activated" when you switch the tab to said page?

I'd suggest you to run a scan and block it with Adblock for now.

It's not on mobile, it's on a pc. I'm about to do a full scan and get adblock. It just happened again doing a Saggitarius quest.

I've had this happen a few times, but I actually thought that it was because I was clicking on the ad at the bottom of the page by mistake, since I tend to get impatient and try to click "Complete Quest" (for example), before the pages fully load D:

I've had this problem when on my phone. Sometimes while brousing subeta I'll be redirected to a full page add without having clicked on an add. It's very annoying.

This has happened to me several times today, too. I'm doing quests, and it happens right when I'm about to open new tabs for item searches...or on the starting page of the quests.

No, that's a lot more hassle than you need to do for something simple. Just run an antivirus if you're that concerned.

It's a javascript page that typically relies on you clicking someplace on the page to actually install anything. I get the automatic redirect pages once in a blue moon and haven't ever had issue with them because I just close out of the tab and open a new one without the ad.

Yeah, I got directed off site a few times today as well :/ don't like it one bit. I'm thinking of filing a ticket as this problem only happens on Subeta. I've ran a scan and everything just to make sure my laptop's okay. I sure hope this issue gets fixed soon.

This is happening to me too. Last Friday, it did this. I ran a program on my computer that found the bad stuff and cleared it. Everything has been fine since.

I'm only on subeta right now and that same site (I got that randomly came up last week) just popped up. All I did was click on a subeta item to put in my shop.

This is ridiculous. Especially, when people use real money on this site. Something needs to be done.

It just popped up on my 3 times. I will take a screenie next time.

It pops up while on my iPad. Though I'll post websites when they come around again.

Haven't tried it on PC yet. Though I have Adblock activated on it.

Ugh this has been happening to me all the time. It even happened when I got to this page!! IT happens on my iPhone, but I think it also tried to put something nasty on my PC, because my antivirus is telling me it's blocking something.

almost sounds like this is adware..I havent had this happen to me at all though..Im wondering if it could be because I have adblock/adblock plus though.

This is just one of the ads that pops up. This one took over my browser when I clicked Shop Search while doing a quest. Others that have popped up have had Oprah Winfry or Ellen Degeneres.

EDIT: And another one just now when clicking the link to Maleria's Quests through the Dashboard.

I just had this happen 5 minutes ago whilst I was on subetalodge, I had subeta open and a tab for SL, I clicked on an item in SL to check user shops and it took me to a site called Lemode..... but hopefully because Ive got paid AVG. it showed a red danger page so I closed it. on PC, windows, 7 Chrome. It just happened again whilst on SL, clicked to look in user shops and took me to the screenshot 3 on pumpkins post. Looking in my computer Control Panel, I've got a program called 'Relevant Knowledge by TMRG.com that installed itself yesterday, I have no idea where from but it pops up a survey and similar asking if I wish to join.google says it may contaion malicious adware. Ive uninstalled it and Im off to scan my computer with my paid AVG, I just hope that all is ok. I am not saying this has come from Subeta!

I use the Chrome browser on Windows7 Windows8. And this has happened to me as well over this past week. I've only noticed it on the Subeta website, no where else has this happened. But it has been the websites that Pumpkin posted screen shots for. It's mostly been when I do quest and use the search shop feature. I don't even click anything, it just starts out very briefly as a Subeta page and then changes over to the ad page. It's worry-some because there's always a chance this could lead to malicious content getting on to our computers. Hopefully something can be done about this.

Edit: Thought I should mention that this also happens with my Linux Operating System, so it's not just a Windows OS problem.

I'm getting it as well. It's ad number three on screen shots. I have come across something like this before. It happened on DeviantART. It was exactly the same situation. You'd be looking at a page and suddenly it would take you to a new page with some bizar offer or product that I couldn't care less about. I'm certain it's an advert. DeviantART reloads ads to help pay for it and as soon as one of the ads loads, zip, you're taken from the site.

This is awful!! It happens with everything I do on Subeta. I can't even play anymore, because every page I go to on Subeta sends me to this malicious website:
