Only time someone had told me what I was saying, was when I was a kid. I said (in Finnish) "Bird, bird, cow. Cow, Cow, bird." I don't remember talking, but I remember a dream, which consisted of two still pictures. The first picture had grassy field, two birds and a cow. Next one had the same field, two cows and one bird. Apparently I explained the pictures out loud :D

My best friend, who always falls asleep way before I do, have funniest sleep talks. Once we were in my bed, and I was waiting for sleep to come, when she suddenly said "From commercial? Which commercial?" and knowing my mother had had funny conversations with her while she slept, I asked if she is sleep talking again. She furiously denied sleep talking. Not so surprisingly she had no recollection of this next morning.

Ps. I need to find some recording app...

Isn't sleep talking the best? My sister swears one night when I was in my tweens she walked past my room to hear me arguing to someone in my sleep. That figures, doens't it?

I tend to fall asleep before my boyfriend, but I managed to overhear him one morning/night, "Nooo, nono, I already have to pee!" Oooh, it made me laugh, to which he awoke, confused, and got up to use the restroom!

When I was in high school, a friend of mine invited me to sleep over and we were ending our night snuggled in blankets, listening to an album. Whenever my friend talks in her sleep, you usually can lead her into some semblance of a conversation, which I hadn't quite found out yet because we were still NEW friends! We were having a slow conversation, but when the CD started skipping repeatedly on a scratch, I asked her where the power button was because I didn't want to fumble too much in the darkness. She replied to my question, but she just ended up mimicking the scratched reiteration of, "It's in the-the-the-the,.." until finally she lulled back to sleep. Poor thing, I still get her about that sometimes and it's been,... ten (!!) years.

One night my sister slept in my room with me (a spider was in her's, we got it but she freaked out anyway) and apparently at one point I mumbled, "Don't put the pancakes in the b'jello." My dream had nothing to do with food, but I get a laugh out of it.

No sleep talk story makes me laugh as hard as when we were camping and my sis and her friend were sharing a bed; apparently she made a really loud, sexual moan in her sleep and said friend laid there awkwardly trying to figure out what just happened.

I was watching a movie while the bf slept (he'd been sleeping a while) and he just randomly said "sex" so I asked him about it and he kept answering "I didn't" in his sleep.

I was staying the night at my GF's house a few years ago and it was sometime during the middle of the night when my mom called me about a storm coming up. Before I can get to the phone, my GF sits straight up in bed, eyes closed and everything, and says, "Phone ring? Phone ring???" then waits a few seconds and then says, "I can't see anything..." and proceeds to flop down on the bed like a dead fish. She was completely asleep.

Another time, she was in the backseat of the car asleep. She sat straight up (she was lying down), and, once again, with her eyes closed, yelled, "HE'S TOO SMALL TO LIVE!" and flopped back down and was right asleep.

I work at an assisted living place at the front desk, which is in a living room sort of area. Sometimes the residents will fall asleep when they're hanging out in there and one guy was yelling gibberish the other day. It was pretty funny. XD

I have sleep conversations a lot with my brother, but with no one else. We'll talk about how I'm trying to find the key to the gate, or about "the monkeys in the boxes." (I got really annoyed when he didn't know what monkeys I meant apparently, that's one of my favorites hahah). He's also told me that I've said the name of one of my favorite characters in a sing song voice. I usually go back to sleep after a minute and he tells me all about it in the morning.

My Great Aunt can be down right creepy when she talks in her sleep. One night she screamed in her sleep and really freaked me out. Other times she acts like she is a scared little girl(in a childlike voice and all) One day she was laughing in her sleep.

I was once told I growled at them in my sleep but that is all I know of.

my significant other talks in his sleep a LOT and it's usually him freaking out about something, like sitting up in bed suddenly and saying "what?!" loudly, lol. just a couple of nights ago he suddenly yelled out "god damn it" and then started snoring in 5 seconds, it always scares me awake. another time he woke up claiming there was a giant spider on the wall above my head, and i flew across the room only to discover there was no spider and he had no idea what was happening. i usually just try to ignore him haha

I apparently scared the crap out've my boyfriend the other night. I started reaching for the ceiling in the middle of the night. My boyfriend asked me what I was doing and I said, "Reaching for the handle" He then said, "what are you talking about?" Then I ended up getting mad and falling back asleep. I remember actually doing that, I think I might've just been half asleep and woke up to pee. :P

The last time anybody told me about my sleep talking, I was shouting something about feeding mars bars to tyrannosaurus rexes. Apparently I had a whole zoo of dinosaurs that night. Another night I apparently thought I was a chat show host. One of my friends used to answer questions in his sleep, so his mum used to use it to get the truth out of him. I couldn't imagine anything more embarrassing that waking up in the morning and your mum asking you about your new girlfriend that you were trying to keep a secret.

Lol my boyfriend has crazy adventures in his sleep. Every once in awhile he even seems alert when he starts randomly talking to me about stuff in the middle of the night. Usually I figure out he's still passed out when stuff doesn't make sense. He's told me about bunnies running through a field before and how we "couldn't get there from here". Once he sat up in bed and just randomly said, "The cats told me to." then woke himself up when he was laying back down and asked what I wanted, like I woke him up for something. lol It's strange, but it's really interesting. I have no idea if I talk in my sleep though. I guess no one has ever told me if I do.

My boyfriend talks in his sleep. He'll have conversations with me too. My favorites are, "Tell me about the vikings." "I don't know anything about the vikings." "Yes, you do! You were just telling me about them! Just tell me about the vikings!" and, " Did you pick Blastoise?" "No. Was I supposed to?" "I don't know." " Did you pick Blastoise?" "No."

My roommates this past semester talked in their sleep too. One sat straight up in bed as I came through the door and asked, "Who's there? What do you want?" before laying back down. It was 1am, and her bed faces the door. My other roommate just moans in her sleep, which was slightly awkward because I'd wake up to find that her partner had spent the night. While I know they would never do anything with us in the room, it's still slightly awkward to hear moaning when you're half asleep at 2am and realize there's an extra person in the bed across the room from you.

Oh my goodness. My mom is a very active sleep-talker. She's done it her whole life, and is the kind of person who will sit up, open her eyes, be talking to you, and STILL be asleep. We've had entire conversations going on this way. The funny thing is that if you ask her if she's awake she'll just flat out tell you no.

As for recently, I did have my best friend spend a few nights and I guess she was trying to cuddle closer to me and I picked my head up, yelled at her to "%@*% off" and dropped my head back down and continued snoring. The next morning she told me she tried to inch herself all the way to the opposite end of the bed after I yelled at her. My sister and I both sleep-talk just as frequently as our mother.

I don't think I talk in my sleep thank god but I do sleep with my eyes open a bit. When I went to France a couple of years ago it apparently freaked out the girl I was rooming with. lol

I do move a lot in my sleep, though. Everyone I've ever shared a bed with has complained. aha I've kicked someone out of the bed once and another time I woke up with my head in their lap. I feel so bad for anyone who has to share a bed with me. aha

I always talk in my sleep and even do actions or sleep walk. Once when me and my ex bf where watching tv I fell asleep and apparently I was like "that's a pretty box." and he was just really confused. This other time I was alone and I was starting to wake up but was still dreaming and my dream was that I was eating, so I did the action like I was taking a bite out of something and woke up mid bite and swallowed air.

I sometimes mutter stuff when i sleep, thankfully its mostly unintelligible. Am kind of paranoid that id reveal something odd when im asleep.

had a sleepover with several friends and one of them muttered in sleep "Gustav...." for several times. She probably meant the drummer of tokio hotel.. (she loved th a lot back then) i guess thats where my fear from sleeptalking comes from, haha.

You guys have great stories. :) I have one to add. One time at a girl-scout camping trip one of my friends said, "I'm going to catch him; I'm going to catch him, hot or cold." We all asked her about it in the morning but she had no idea what she had been dreaming about.

I am no man.
