Yesterday I downloaded this app that's supposed to record what you say while sleeping. I have talked in my sleep/sleepwalked for a long time. What are some things that you've said/heard someone else say?
I supposedly do it every night. I say that goes from weird like "Meow. No, shut up, I didn't meow." and "The apples don't mind being juiced." to the really damn creepy that freak people out, like when I sit up and stare at nothing like "who is that? that little girl. standing right there. points at closet She's holding an orange cat."

"Faith is about what you do. Its about aspiring to be better and nobler and kinder than you are, even if there's no one around to tell you what a hero you are."

My favourite one has always been from when a friend and myself were staying at my Grans. I used to visit my Gran in Kirkcaldy regularly, and one time my best friend came with me. We were sleeping and she pulled the covers and said
Roseanne: "Give me some covers!" Me: "You've got plenty covers!" Roseanne: "Aye, but there's only one roll of sellotape!"
That still makes me giggle to this day.
Apparently at a sleep over a week or so ago, a friend of mine tried to put makeup on my face and I literally growled at her and tried to swat her away. I only thought that I'd tried to swat her away, had no clue I'd growled. The fun part is I didn't figure that out till we were recounting this like two days ago, haha!
Apparently sleep talking is really common. Someone wrote a blog called Sleep Talking Man based on things that her husband says in his sleep. It's really kind of amusing because apparently in his sleep he uses a lot of American phrases and stuff that he would never say in his actual life (he's English) and almost has another personality. I've also heard of people speaking in languages that they don't speak while awake.

Apparently last month when I was stressed with my thesis I woke up in the middle of the night and was like "THE HOLE PUNCH. WHERE IS MY HOLE PUNCH. I NEED IT". Anyway, I woke up and my hole punch was on the kitchen table. My boyfriend had put it there when he left for work. When I asked how it was there that is what he said.
I almost never talk in my sleep. The only time I know of was when I was a kid and mom heard me say "Teacher! TEACHER!" in a really desperate voice...
Once I was camping with my family and a friend. We were all sleeping in the same tent, and there was hardly any personal space. In the middle of the night I woke up when the friend suddenly shouted "CHAINSAW KILLER!!!" straight into my ear. I was so scared for a moment there. XD
I don't really sleep talk but my vocal chords sometimes activate when I breathe out. So apparently I'll be sleeping soundly and then all of a sudden let out a low creepy moan. I've scared people half to death lol
My mom talks a lot in her sleep though. She falls asleep a lot in front of the tv so I have to wake her up often to send her to bed. She goes into a half-awake state for a while and I can have pretty long and silly conversations with her XD One of my favorites:
Me: Mom, wake up..
Mom: No, no you have the wrong number.
Me: Whaa?
Mom: You're in the wrong city. You have to call the office representing your city.
Me: (can't stop laughing at this point) Please just go to bed.
Mom: In what city?
Me: Either one.
Mom: No you don't get it. You're not calling the right city.
This went on for a good five minutes before she actually began to sound coherent lol
I had a boyfriend once who used to moo like a cow and headbutt the pillow ALL NIGHT. Every thirty seconds or so. Fun times XD
A friend of mine once sat up in the middle of the night. I couldn't sleep so I was playing with my game console. So surprised I asked her "Oh, were you still awake?" and she answered "No I'm not. I'm sleeping." sounding really annoyed and laid down again. She didn't remember this in the morning so I guess she was talking in her sleep? XD
My bf told me once I woke him up in the middle of the night and said something like hmblfrrrb ...ok
Sometimes my boyfriend will fall asleep while he's still talking to me. So he's sleeping, but he thinks he's still supposed to be talking. Sometimes he just mumbles random stuff and other times I can ask him questions and he'll have short, wacky answers. It's pretty entertaining.
[flower=joy]
Thank you!
Apparently I've said a few times, "THE CROW WILL FLY"....
I once asked my boyfriend 'do you want any more sugar?' as i was dreaming about making him a cup of tea XD And then the time i asked him to 'open jeebus' XD I meant open the window, but the book i was reading at the time had a character that had a jesus statue in her room and her sister calledit jeebus and thats what i was dreaming about when i said it XD

I don't think I talk in my sleep, but apparently once at a stay in a hostel, I went to sleep and my friend went to go to a club with her boyfriend. When she came back late at night, apparently I asked her why she was here, and that she needed to leave. She told me about it in the morning. Then again, maybe that wasn't sleeptalking? Maybe I woke up for a sec.
I don't know if I talk in my sleep, but I have a friend who does. It's actually a lot better than that because you can have a conversation with her while she's asleep and she will answer every question completely truthfully. She'll have no recollection the next morning.

One of my sisters when she was around 5 years old: "Here Mom, hold my cup." (while reaching out her hand as if holding a cup)
Numerous siblings at different times: "Mmmm, [insert food here.]"
A different sister around 5 years old: "I don't like you, hug me."
One of my younger teenage sisters recently: "What did you do that for you stupid jerk?!" (in an angry growly voice) Same sister many years ago: "The moon is blue."
One of my friends at camp many years ago: "Google search . . . turkey."

Apparently I mumble in my sleep, but nothing understandable. Oh, and laugh too.
I'm really grateful but at the same time I kinda wish I had some funny stories to share about it!
The only really weird thing I have ever done is that I woke myself up in high school once screaming "ORANGES!" and my mother walked in and laughed at me.

I mumble a lot, but no one ever really knows what I'm saying xP My boyfriend talks in his sleep and I always try to talk to him to see if he responds, but he rarely does. The most recent thing he's said was saying "STOP IT HANNAH" in his sleep, but I was laying perfectly still and not doing anything at all, haha
