LORD was that ever a trial. not a fan of that fight. for anyone looking for tips, start using dark magma potions. he doesn't block magma outside of the stupid fucking hat, so it's good for getting in a little damage when nothing else is hitting.

i'll be honest, i have no idea what happened there. usually hits crits would hit me for 4-6k, never anything as cheap as 10 friggin thousand damage. is it possible for opponents to get double crits? because i think that's what happened to me.

Nah I don't think opponents have mods or anything. He pretty high base str so it was probably a single crit with a stupid amount of air icons.

I kept getting him down to like 4k then he would steal one/both of my weapons and rip Wuf. forced me to put on BoNA for the last win. but I did go 9 without steal protection so that's kinda impressive lol.

no problem, if I can stay focused I can get stuff from there with some consistency lol, it's just stressful and boring

Yea I was wondering about my t9 pet, has enough AP for 2 freeze scrolls and a TA, but not sure if the weapons help

Ugh, stuck at 4 wins on Jacques and now he's faster than me and seems to reeeeeally like doubling his damage early! DX In the meanwhile, I was able to tie on Baenwurath for the first time ever, so maybe I'll try for that win and figure out a different approach.

t9 is such an underwhelming tier imo. all the fun stuff comes in the next two tiers xD my other pets lack enough AP for me to be comfortable battling with them... one day I'll read to them more.

i'm actually really impressed! i had like 6 natural armor tears between my two weapons and even then, the second my blessing would drop, he'd be all over me with freezes and p-quill steals. and this was straight out the gate for me. it was uphill all the way
