I haven't tried the impossible version yet but for the others I was using my trident, shinwas ss and prodigy staff as a backup in case she stole things. It worked pretty well but I guess I can live without it for most other opponents

oh haha, the impossible version is much worse xD best set is unstable sample syringe + trident + prodigy staff all modded with water baguettes

I've been looking into buying an unstable syringe as it looks like it would also be useful against the ice king

Do you have the cabinet to unlock the Scientist? Mutant Scientist drops the Syringe, I'd say try to win one over buying. If you need one in the here and now you'll probably be able to borrow for a bit :)

I don't have him unlocked, but my stats aren't good enough to beat him for the drop (at least I don't think) and looking at prices, it looks like it may be cheaper just to buy the syringe

Ah so jelly congrats! What would you say, in your opinion, are good stats to be at for health, strength, etc? I know this is highly dependent on your strategy and what items you use, not just weapons.

Turned in 4 amulets today and got 1 tome. Not too shabby.

Oh you are soooo close. Have you thought about getting some frozen froth boosters from the battle shop? I know they up your level by 4 every time, but you are so close.

I have a bunch of tomes in my vault for when I actually hit t13, but the only boosters I'd use right now are single stat boosters like from shinwa xD
