Funny thing is I'd started the battle and forgot to equip it that time, duh, only time I had thus far. Just about managed to pull it off anyway. I'll use it for Mutant Scientist instead. :)

Just need to finish up the last couple of wins on Mutant Scientist and progress beyond the single win on Baenwurath. And oh yeah, Forj Matriarch. I'd forgotten about her. Probably need to borrow an Ocean Currents or something for her.

Hmm out of those 4 amulets 1 gave me a tome. Now normally I would let Dameon have it since he so earned it but since pet 3 is getting super close to tier 9 I think my main battler can let this one slide. Ha-ha.

That was actually a close one. Got chain frozen for 2 turns, then frozen again one turn after that. And I never got to use any smashers or my shriek.

I just used standard pquill/reviver/soma/recycle blaster coupled with rainbow vortex/mecha/maniacal essence/cronus blade and mainly turtled behind a Skelly scroll. I didn't bother to change around my scrolls so back-ups were my freezers (which you can't use, of course) and a few Cobalts which I used in the first few turns while setting up the blasts and mecha alongside my Cronus. I tried Rapier of Error for the curse, but honestly it was way too risky with his high damage output - he pretty much mauled me immediately on battle 6 while using it. So I swapped in my Vortex, which was okay for a slight breather.

If it didn't have a billion one use weapons to start, and you actually had a decent chance at blasting rally call of the king, it'd be cake.

The turtling/boosting makes for a decent chance for me to get one hit crit lol.

Actually, I feel like those large amounts of disposable weapons are a lifesaver. I mean, its infinite use stuff is worse and it lets you get in as much damage as possible before Baenwurath's attack and defense go through the roof.

@ virus I'm gonna do as much as I can til I've hit the proverbial (castle) wall. Hopefully it'll be more than 5

@ MrCool They are in a way, but if I could blast a rally call of the king, I'd be golden lol. Slower boosting, and no 1k heal means it's weaker and going down faster ya know?

And then this happens Total Damage: 8906 I was just shy of full health, castle was 25k hp :( Luckily I find these battles much less boring than say, sophie or meatslab.

[edit] Well that was beyond frustrating I take back my comment about castle being better than sophie or meatslab. I had it at under 200 hp at the same turn it crit me, so i had to pquill next turn and then it just kept healing. 11 turns later I finally won -.-

Congrats on your win though sorry the darn thing wouldn't die right away. So annoying when challengers spam heal.

Very annoying, but I'd rather them spam heals than crits XD
